Store can use some updating for sure. Limited produce but generally can find fresh seafood.
We usually visit this store for fresh fish and seafood. We’ve bought a variety of options, including red snapper, butterfish, and shrimp, and have always had a good experience.nnAside from fish and seafood, they also carry a range of meat and egg options, although we haven’t tried them yet. The employees here are helpful and assist with cutting and cleaning larger fish.nnThe store also sells a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. While I find these a bit overpriced, they do carry some unique items. For example, we bought sweet Colombian mangoes this summer, which were by far the best mangoes we’ve had in this city! We also pick up some bakery items whenever we visit, including tea cakes, cookies, and egg tarts.
Expired product everywhere! I bought a drink last week and it tasted terrible, I check the expired date, it expired in APRIL!! Normally I don’t mind a couple days past the expiration date because it’s hard to keep track of every date on every product but MONTHS expired is unacceptable. I thought maybe it’s just that one product but everything else I bought that day was also months expired. I went today and everything I looked at was expired at least two months. I used to love this store.
