We stayed in room 2127 for two nights - beautiful and stunning view of the falls. Check in was great as we were checked in earlier than expected and this was great as the weather was poor. PLEASE BRING BACK THE LONG COUCHES. When you travel for a long distance to get to your destination and have been sitting for a while- its nice to curl up or stretch out in front of that stunning view and relax- especially since it costs so much for night one and new years eve was almost $1600.00 so I used my points. For that much - we can have a fantastic all inclusive in the Caribbean for 7 days. Its very obvious that there has been changes in management and the comfort of the guests are not up to par. Our heating didn’t work- please check the room door - there are gaps around so it’s not sealed - so was noisy - therefore, not sure how that passed inspection. The jets in the whirlpool needs some work and the TV is from the ice ages - no option to stream. What happened to the steam room??? This was the reason we switched from the Embassy years ago. Staff was friendly and courteous- we had some issues which was resolved before we left today. Please have some better choices with the room service or the restaurant- with today’s hectic pace of life- it would be nice to just have the option to have everything in one area without having to order food from outside. The windows need cleaning and keeps fogging up with moisture in between- please look into that- it kinda spoils the view. You have a great hotel- just go around and check them all one by one to ensure that the the money that you are charging is really what the hotel deserves- parking needs to be better and more affordable. I don’t want to write about this in another review- please take care of the hotel brand at best.
My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel. The room 2218 by the way, if you can get it had an amazing view of both sets of falls. The staff, particularly Martina and Front Office Manager Patricia thank you both very much! were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely book again for a relaxing weekend or an overnight stay for a show at the casino.
Had an unpleasant experience for a thanksgiving holiday stay. At around 6 am morning, the alarm rang two times which indeed scared us and seriously impacted our sleep. We reported the situation to the front desk both on the same morning and also when checking out, the front desk didn't have any empathy or action.nThis hotel doesn't look like a 5 star hotel. The room was not clean. Especially the tub showed yellow stain which made us abandon using it.nAnother problem is the bill was not transparent. When checking out, the front desk didn't tell us the bill amount. A few days later when I saw the hotel bill charge on my credit card, I couldn't understand what the bill number was for. There was no way you can see the bill detail.nnWe didn't think we had been treated nicely. I wanted to leave a review on this hotel on Marriott to report all these situations but there is no way to allow me to do so.
Enjoyed our stay, had a great view of the falls. The carpet felt dirty somehow can’t explain it other than after the first time you didn’t want to take your shoes off so we bought slip ons. Little further out of the main drag about a 20 minute walk. Oh and say you just wanted a plain baked potato from Morton’s Steakhouse with absolutely nothing on it, $22.50 plus tip. But really you go for the view and that was a 5 out of 5 stars.
Terrible Customer Service, Poor ManagementnnI recently stayed at this hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. I booked a room for three people, but the hotel processed it as a reservation for only two. This mistake led to my sister being charged for breakfast, even though I had clearly booked for three guests.nnWhen I tried to resolve the issue, the staff’s lack of communication and coordination was shocking. I spoke to the restaurant manager, who sent me downstairs to resolve the issue, only for the supervisor there to send me back up. I was left confused and frustrated, with no one taking accountability.nnTo make matters worse, the supervisor I finally spoke to was rude and dismissive. She showed no interest in helping me or acknowledging their mistake. This hotel clearly lacks proper management or training for their supervisors, who should be equipped to handle such issues professionally.nnI would not recommend staying here unless you’re prepared to deal with unhelpful staff, poor communication, and unexpected charges.
