Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites

Couldn’t have had a better stay! Thank you so much to the kind young lady who checked us in early, when it was desperately needed. Our experience at your hotel was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub each day of our visit, had a beautiful family meal on patio at spice, relaxed by the fires at night listening to great tunes. Also enjoyed the fireworks each night from watermark, and the convenient walkway to the casino. Thank you for a relaxing getaway, not even a fire alarm at 2am could have bothered us! We will see you soon.

PROSnWas very happy with our stay. The staff were all very friendly. The room was small but nice enough. It had a beautiful view from the 41st floor. I like that we had housekeeping every day. I liked the fact that we were able to leave our luggage secured until check in. Location location location, so happy with the location.nTo be honest I read some bad reviews that had me nervous but they were far from true in my experience. Definitely would recommend The Hilton Fallsview if traveling to Niagara Falls Canada. Being a tourist area the price was as expected. We did not use the parking garage since we weren’t drivingnCON the fire alarm went off at 130 am. After over an hour long of sounds coming out of the alarm in the ceiling then we got a message that the fire department gave the all clear. That message was repeated over and over for many minutes I was perplexed that if they could put a message like that through that alarm why they wouldn’t be able to tell everyone sooner that it was a false alarm. Save people going down stairs unnecessarily.nCON no microwave in room and refrigerator was barely cold.nCON the hotel restaurant breakfast is way overpriced

As much as I would like to rate this hotel five stars and say it was a wonderful experience, I think they need to make a little bit more effort.nnSince I have stayed here I have found the vending machines do not work, the ice machine did not work, one of the TVs in my suite does not work, and currently I am sitting outside at 2:30 in the morning because of a false fire alarm.nnI had to walk down 50 flights of stairs along with many elderly people who should not be having to walk that distance and then was told in the lobby that all was well and we can return to our room.nThis definitely put a damper on my visit!nnThe falls view really is beautiful from this hotel but just be aware that not everything may be quite up to expectations.

This place is situated in a good location but the bathroom and hot water system needs a major renovation as we have to endure cold shower. Thanks to the warm weather but if you are unwell you may get worse. The spa tub is an old style so it does not have any handles to hold on to. My room number is 1914. I'm serious about this. Please give an attention to my comments. Another thing is about the fire alarm at 2 a.m. last night. The announcement should be clear and precise after it resolved there is no need to repeat again and again so we can go back to sleep. Thank you.

Gorgeous view of the falls from the room, unfortunately that’s all I can say in terms of nice things about this hotel.nFirst and foremost, DISGUSTING beds. I took a photo of the bed after my wife pointed out what she thought looked like sheets marked with bed bugs. I brought this up to the attention of the front desk, and they said they’d clean it, but not before making it seem like it was my fault for having the do not disturb sign on the door while I was in the room with my wife. Did they clean it? No, it was still there up until I left. I stayed for 7 nights on a filthy bed and nuked all my luggage and clothes with steam and hot water to prevent any potential bug issuesnnThe fire alarm went off at 1:30 in the morning during my stay. Down 30 flights of stairs me and my wife went. I get it, alarms happen, better to be safe than sorry. What frustrates me was the employee going over every SINGLE SPEAKER in the hotel saying it was a false alarm for about 20 minutes after we were allowed to return inside by the fire department.nnParking, don’t plan on parking on property. You will be shuttled to an off site parking location. Honestly would not have been a big deal if that was disclosed before booking, but imagine my surprise when I get berated for wanting to park in the on site parking location by staff which I thought was included seeing as how I was a guest of the hotel. Some of the shuttle drivers were nice, while others were not. If you do take the shuttle, try and get Jeff as a driver, he’s funny and pretty nice.nnWould definitely recommend looking at other hotels to stay in first, and only if there’s no vacancy at the KEG across the street than take a gander at this place. I will not be returning and I expected ridiculously more from a Hilton hotel, not the motel 6 experience I paid a lot for.
