This is a real-time review because I am so disappointed and annoyed by the upkeep of this hotel and the service. I booked the weekend of May 22- 24th, 2026 for my daughter's dance Competition. First red flag, the hotel canceled by booking 1 day before my trip because they send me 2 emails advising of my card not going through I had my debit card on file and they were trying to access my credit card. I would hope a hotel would make a call to their customer before canceling a reservation, but I digress. Based on them canceling my reservation, I was no longer able to get the rate I booked with and was now forced to pay double the price I initially booked for. The hotel manager was not willing to help me whatsoever in this matter. Red flag #2, The lobby area is very dated and unattractive, upon asking to use the washroom there was a pungent odor that echoes throughout the hallways and in the rooms. The carpet, A/c unit, refrigerator and fixtures were out dated and needs refresh. Red flag #3, no kettle!! I am an avid tea drinker and the hotel had no kettle for me to get hot water or microwave.The phone was also not working and the mini fridge barely stays cool.nnI am overall just so disappointed, after paying $830+ for a weekend with my family. This is not the type of environment of service I would recommend to anyone. Comfort Inn needs to do better, I wished I booked with Oakes hotel overlooking the falls.

The bed was finished and needed to be replaced. They made me sigh a waver and charged me a deposit in case of any damages which is normal however the bed was not in a fair state. When having your guest sign a waiver it is to be expected that the room is in functional condition. In this case it was not. The bar fridge didn’t work properly and our drinks were room temperature after leaving them in the fridge for 48 hours. We had ants on our ceramic bathroom floor and the front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge the issue with the mattress. They told me someone would come see us in the room and 1 hour came by without any service. I had to call again for the front desk staff to react. Once they came in and saw the mattress they changed it, however my first night in the hotel I didn’t sleep well due the the damaged mattress. Zero curtesy from the front desk staff, the cleaning team was very helpful. When I checked out they didn’t even ask how was my stay and experience. Overall I wouldn’t visit this hotel again and do not recommend if you’re looking for quality for your moneys.

The room was clean and comfortable, and was very well sound insulated. I'm a light sleeper and didn't hear anything from either side or from the loud music outside the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. They did have sausage and eggs and English muffins but that was about the limit of the savory options.

Good things firstnLocation good, lobby clean and rooms nice and clean. Plenty of parking.nNot so good:nBugs in the room and bathroom.nKitchen too small, people were bumping into each other during breakfast. The dimming area felt like jail kitchen. Rude staff with grumpy faces. Top of all, dine-in is limited to 20min only and you need to sign-in before you get the table. They don’t allow you to take the food for kid sleeping in the room. Literally I had to wake up my tiered kid. Breakfast menu is standard no variety same everyday.nThey don’t keep your luggage as well once you check out. Not going again

Check in was okay. Group of 3 with 2 cars so the excessive $30 per car per day is absolutely ridiculous. Total $120 plus tax to park.n1 elevator takes forevernStaff at breakfast buffet overworked and stressed due to high volumes of people. The food area is so small and crammed. Eating area is larger. Had to ask for plates, and coffee.nRooms seem good but after inspection they are not. Wallpaper pealing, mold, dirt and our last night a cockroach ughhhhhhhnOutdoor pool is great however anyone can basically walk into it which made us feel unsafe.nNo towels at pool outside. Only inside pool has them.nSomewhat far Clifton hill but we like to walk. If you have kids you will have to drive or uber.nI wouldn’t stay here again due to the cockroach, mold, uncleanliness and the insane parking fee.
