Travelodge by Wyndham Niagara Falls By the Falls

We booked 2 rooms here for 1 night in September 2017 on a quick visit to the falls, my husband & I and my parents. We found the hotel to be reasonably priced - you definitely pay a premium for location/overlooking the falls. While this hotel doesn't have the most impressive view, it is in a good location to get down to the falls, and close enough to walk to all the action. The hotel is 3 star, which is accurate. We found it to be clean and the staff friendly. I believe we paid for parking but I can't remember how much exactly.

I hope google should include negative points too. I checked in last week with my wife. We found a used chewing gum pasted on the headboard of our bed. Had we not been careful, we could have lost our hairs too. This clearly shows how good the cleaning staff are. God Save people from this hotel. I wish google should start negative ratings too. I emailed them the information they asked but got no response yet. Imagine the cleanliness where you find used chewing gums on your headboard. If you want pleasant stay along with safety, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I sent an email to the below address too after their communication. Still no action has been taken

This place is horrible. There was bugs and hair in the bathroom. One of the pictures you could see there's some kind of black dots in my bed. They were not bed bugs however not sure what they were. The afternoon shift staff is extremely unfriendly. I was there twice in one week and she could not have been more cold or rude. Sincerely needs to have a job review. On the positive side the restaurant for breakfast... The lady was extremely friendly and cheery and just brighten my whole day. This is supposed to be a great location for tourist, but it was me I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Excellent service and the price was a bargain! Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Will definitely book again!

Very bad experience at this motel. Just visited May 12 2018. Older lady at reception so rude to start our vacation. She doesn't even welcome you. we booked 2 rooms -queen suite. When booking, they said it will come with sofa bed and sitting area. Not such thing given just 2 queen beds in both stingy rooms. When asked reception what happened to my suite, they said to call wyndham head office because I booked online through wyndham. When i called the head office regarding this issue, one girl put me on hold and i waited for an hour with no one answering the phone. I hung up, end up paying roaming charges for my cell phone. Don't book this place. You can find much better place with parking and breakfast included for same price. I come to Niagara every year and never experienced this worst. Just booked for the name Travelodge, didn't expected this. Will never book Travelodge again. Worst than a Motel. Nothing good about this place. Location, parking extra, breakfast not included, not even sitting area in Lobby, tiny swimming pool. Worst experience as whole I ever had.
