MacTaggart Place, an Optima Living community

Such a wonderful place! The staff are all very nice! Very clean and beautiful home! We do a weekly christian chapel service here and we are having a great time, the residents are all very appreciative and friendly. Always looking forward to our weekly visit!

MacTaggart Place was the easiest and best decision we could have made when faced with the difficult decision of memory care for our mom. The residence and the residents are sparkling clean, the menu nutritious and varied, and the activities fun and meaningful. But the most outstanding feature of this particular facility are undoubtedly the staff. From the front office administration to the support staff to the medical front line, each and every team member was gracious, patient and kind to both our mom and our family. I truly cannot describe how lucky we were to have witnessed such generosity of spirit from our dear friends at MacTaggart Place. We had such high hopes for the care of our most vulnerable and precious loved one, and can honestly say that every expectation was exceeded.

I recently moved my mom from MacTaggart Place to a different community to be closer to her family and friends, I regret the move for several reasons. I lost my mom a couple of weeks ago after the move. I would say that we are so fortunate to have my mom at MacTaggart Place for the last 4 years, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I / we realized and appreciate it even more after moving my mom . No words to express our gratitude and how grateful we were knowing my mom was well looked after during her stay at MacTaggart.

To be honest this facility rates much higher than a Five Star.nThe compassion, and caring begins the minute you walk in the front door.nBut what makes this Residence unlike any I have been in, so different, is the staff. They all embrace an atmosphere of family. They literally enjoy their work, and it is apparent with the way they interact with all the residents.nThe Blossom Program has taken it to a higher level of care.nI am so thankful my mom is receiving the highest standard of care she truly deserves.nMany thanks to all the staff, your professionalism and hard work does not go unnoticed.nLouise Croteau Walker

My mother has been a resident of MacTaggart Place since November, 2018. She thoroughly enjoys living there. The food is excellent and the activities, entertainment etc.pre-Covid19 have all been wonderful. With Covid-19 restrictions, MacTaggart Place staff have done a wonderful job of adapting to the changing times to keep the residents happy and safe. The staff also keep MacTaggart Place clean and well maintained. I am so happy she is living there. I would strongly recommend MacTaggart Place to anyone who is looking for a place for their loved one or themselves.
