Ordered 6 jack stands at a great sale price and a wrench & socket, 2 jacks and the socket were in stock and could be picked up right away. The other 4 jacks and the wrench had to come from another store and arrived ahead of quoted arrival time. All were in good condition and exactly as described on the web site. First time ordering from KMS and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I had a few questions and the associate was very helpful even though she was stocking the shelf. She then went to the back & got my online order. Great service.

UPDATE: February 4, 2025!nnOne of the most disappointing and worst customer service I've experienced.nnI used to love this store. KMS Tools was the go-to place for all our friends and family the past several years. Spent tens of thousands of dollars. I had a one-time unpleasant shopping experience with them on January 23, 2025 see original post below. And because I loved KMS Tools, I sent them a super nice email regarding what happened, and that I hoped it could be fixed so no other customer could experience the same thing I went through. It was an opportunity to make things right.nnThat was nearly 2 weeks ago. I haven't received a single response regarding that experience. It was sent to both locations in Edmonton. Clearly both management teams didn't even care at all. Two weeks and not a single response. It goes to show the management team and owners DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.nnI am posting this here publicly for everyone to know how they really run things.nnI almost can't wait to see the generic response from the owner to this review that *publicly* apologizes, but then does not actually do anything behind closed doors.nn***If they do end up making things right, I will be sure to update this review. But if this review remains, know that KMS Tools did not do ANYTHING to make things right.***nn_______________________nOriginal email January 23, 2025nnThis email is not meant to express anger, but rather to let the staff know so I hope this does not happen to anyone else.nnI recently purchased the Makita promotion from your store. It is to spend $399 for a drill and impact, and get another tool up to $399 for FREE supposed to be up to a $800 value.nnI initially chose the palm router as the free tool only worth $199 as I needed it for an upcoming project, but plans changed and I decided to bring it back to the store to choose another tool free tool.nnI asked the wonderful ladies there if I could instead just get store credit, instead of choosing another tool up to $399 because I wasn’t sure what I even needed yet.nnThe lady called the manager and the manager said she can certainly provide store credit instead. Great, I thought… But to my surprise, the store credit only came to $199.nnShe let me know she could only give me $199 as store credit as a replacement for the free tool up to $399 for the sole reason being that she “returned” the palm router on the computer, which was the initial free tool that I gave back, and the palm router scanned in as $199. So the return amounted to $199 in store credit.nn*While I could try to understand the reasoning, I could have initially chosen the $399 impact wrench DTW1004Z as the free tool from the very start, instead of the $199 palm router. And upon “returning” that free $399 impact wrench tool for store credit, I would have received a lot more than the $199 I actually received based on the price of the palm router…nnI know I could have just returned everything and get my money back $399 and then start the process fresh. Re-buy the $399 promo + get $399 in store credit instead of the free tool up to $399, and be on my way — but that is just too much of a hassle. Not just for myself, but for the awesome ladies at the till.nnI just did not want to argue any further, and so I ended up just purchasing a multi tool $179 and circular saw $129 for a total of $308. I used the store credit of only $199 plus tax, and paid the remaining amount of $113.41 on my Visa. Realistically, I should have paid nothing for these two tools because I should have received a higher amount in store credit in the first place.nnAgain, this is not meant to be an angry letter. Whether or not this was actually store policy, or a personal management decision — I just hope something can be changed so nobody in the future can be shorted out of the additional $199 in store credit that they were absolutely entitled to.nnI will happily continue to shop at KMS Tools because of the wonderful staff and customer service I’ve received all other times. I hope this was just a one-off event.

Excellent tools and service! I called the Edmonton store to have them put a few sale items on hold for me. The woman that helped me on the phone was friendly and very helpful.

Sometimes great pricing and available products in stock. But you didn’t return a Milwaukee light that had a poor design so bad I couldn’t take the battery out. It was maybe one day past 14 days and you wouldn’t return it. That is pathetic. I’ve also ordered online and it’s taken two weeks to receive it. That was probably not shipped for a week. Spend More money on staff that can get these products shipped within one day
