Stayed one night with my grandson because he has an early swim meet at Markham Pan Am. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and bright atmosphere. Staff very pleasant . Free breakfast at their Hampton On The House was excellent… I had the fluffy plain omelette, hot oatmeal, fruits and yogurt. Coffee was good. Bright and spacious with lots of seatings. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the rooms were not very soundproof. I could hear the conversations next door and baby crying down the hall. Otherwise everything was great.
Noisy but pleasant hotel with spartan rooms and a great breakfast. Did I mention noisy? Two cleaners in the hallway had an argument and it sounded like they were next to my bed. The heater/cooler is a rattling old machine next to a window... bring ear plugs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The flooring in the rooms was laminate so when doors slammed from adjacent rooms it echos through your room. Fruit was not fresh, there was two school trips on site, we left plenty of time for ourselves to be at our own event but the line to use the toaster and waffle maker were very long both mornings and then they ran out of mix. Usually pick this brand for the comfort and reliability but bed was not the best either but that is just my personal preference. I always pick Hampton inn when travelling but think I will change for next weekends trip. Especially if they are switching to this flooring, also keeps the room humid from showers.
The hotel is nice and clean . Front desk and housekeeping are very helpful. A special credit to the front desk staff Twinky/Twinkie. She is very helpful and proactive. I arrived hotel at 7am. She tried her best to arrange an early check in as soon as possible.nnThe hairdryer in the room is malfunction. They arranged a new one in around 10mins. Appreciated.nnthere is plaza and supermarket with 15mins walk. very convenient.
Appears recently renovated, so rooms and breakfast areas look refreshed and comfortable. Elevator seems fast too.nnAppreciate the comprehensive TV channels having international Omni and Fairchild TV on a large TV.nnFitness center surprised with a peloton, and good tv quality on treadmills.nnOne quirk is the gym has either pool or bath towels....when every other hotel will have smaller face or hand towels which work better.
