My recent stay at the Sheraton by Marriott left much to be desired, particularly regarding the cleanliness and overall condition of the room.nnUpon arrival, the front desk staff that checked me in seemed unhappy and disengaged, which did not make for a welcoming experience.nnOnce getting into the room, I found the pillows to have hair, stains, and marks, suggesting they hadn’t been changed. The fitted sheet appeared similarly unchanged, exhibiting significant wrinkles. Additionally, I discovered a fake nail on the floor in front of the sofa/sofa bed, which further indicated a lack of thorough cleaning and vacuuming under the sofa.nnThe room’s surfaces were also disappointing. The mirror and shower glass had noticeable water marks, indicating they hadn’t been properly wiped, if at all. The mirror above the desk in the living room was particularly concerning, as it was so covered in dust and debris that it was no longer clear.nnThe condition of the carpet in the bedroom was another issue; it felt oily to the touch, reinforcing the importance of not walking barefoot in the room.nnBeyond cleanliness, the premium room I booked felt outdated and more akin to a motel than the high standards one expects from a Sheraton. For the same price, or even less, I recommend staying at the newly renovated Delta Hotels by Marriott on the other side of Highway 404, which offers a far superior experience based on my stays there.nnIn summary, the Sheraton did not meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness or overall quality, and I would suggest considering alternative accommodations in the area.
Excellent service, friendly staff. I ended up booking this hotel somewhat by accident for a family vacation. Glad I made the mistake. Clean hotel, friendly staff, great amenities. The restaurant staff at Crave Restaurant were accomodating to dietary needs, very good selection at the breakfast buffet. Special thanks to Peter and Anton or Anthony at Crave. Truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
The staff is a big part of this review. From the welcome we received until the very end, at checkout. Bottled water, snacks and freezies for the kids at check in! Every single staff member was respectful and courteous throughout our stay. It made it very pleasant.nnWe had a room in the Richmond tower, which are the more modern looking rooms you see in photos. Nothing to add, they are exactly as pictured and as clean as can be. The only time i called for something, a staff member fulfilled the request within 5 minutes.nnThe location was centered and convenient, just what we were looking for. Did i mention Starbucks is located at the lobby? nnWould book again in the future!
The hotel is very dirty although we stayed at the king suit initially booked for 2 queen beds but was unavailable upon arrival.nThey upgraded without charge. The room has a king size bed and a sofa fold bed that Has pOp corn on it when we decided to unfold the bed ….nThere was dust everywhere.. I thought I really booked a 4 stars place..nnBreakfast was the worst..nCroissant was hard as a rock and upon seating not even starting to eat we already have our bill, the waiter said because some people leave without paying..nWe are staying at the hotel .. weird !nnot professional for a breakfast that cost 90$.. I was expecting a better service
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. We booked nine rooms, but two of them were uncomfortably hot at 80 degrees due to malfunctioning air conditioners. Despite multiple calls for service, no one came to address the issue.nnThe situation was further exacerbated by the unprofessional behavior of the security team, particularly a female member who seemed more interested in harassing us than in actually providing assistance. She knocked on our door past midnight, disturbing our children, and claimed there was a noise complaint. She then stood outside our door with a smug smile for over half an hour, which was both intimidating and disrespectful.nnWhile the staff at Crave Restaurant were accommodating and provided excellent service to our large group, the rest of our stay was marred by poor management and a lack of responsiveness from the front desk. We voiced our concerns, but it felt like they were ignored.nnOverall, I would not recommend the Sheraton Parkway Hotel. Given our experience, we will not be returning.
