We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Expresses Markham, and I have to say the experience was fantastic, thanks to the incredible staff, especially Therese at the reception desk. She was nothing short of amazing—accommodating, kind, and radiating positivity. Her bubbly personality was such a warm welcome, and it’s clear she truly enjoys her job. She went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect, and her kindness did not go unnoticed.nnThe rest of the staff were equally wonderful. The breakfast lady was cheerful and attentive, making the mornings such a pleasant start to the day. Pancakes were yummy! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds and pillows were some of the best I’ve experienced at a hotel—so cozy and inviting.nnOverall, this was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I’ve had in a long time, and it’s largely thanks to the fantastic team. I highly recommend staying here—you’ll be well taken care of!
Very spacious rooms with a double sink vanity, stand up shower and tub in the bathroom. The fridge and micro in the room are definitely a plus. Bed was comfortable but pillows were not. Good desk area to work. Lighting definitely needs improvement in the room as the room was very dark even with the lamps on. Gym is very minimalistic with only a handful of machines out of which one didnt work for the whole week of our stay. There is a water station and towels in the gym which was nice. Pool is on the very small side but it was mostly empty during our stay. Laundry room has 1 washer and dryer with $2 each for the washer and dryer and $2 for the detergent. Service staff was very helpful. Breakfast was constantly being refilled and loved the fresh pancake machine. Good variety on the condiments as well. Daily housekeeping service as well. The hotel location is decent with some eateries across the street mostly Vietnamese and Thai places.
Had to make a quick unexpected stop and found the right place to rest and relax in the middle of a snow squall. Not sure how new/old the Holiday Inn hotel is but it sure felt new! Everything about it made me feel like I was a special guest. Staff very kind and friendly and so polite! A definite recommendation for all.
Hotel agent was very thorough in explaining all features and hours. Room is very clean and well spaced. No complaints and they have complimentary parking.nnOne recommendation is have a fan for washroom. There does not appear to have any way to vent the moisture or smell .
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express and couldn’t be more satisfied! The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep every night. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making the check-in and check-out process quick and smooth. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations with a variety of hot and cold options, all fresh and delicious. The location was also perfect, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and local attractions. Overall, the value for the experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!
