Holiday Inn Express Toronto-Markham Is ExcellentnFrom the reservation to the departure, excellent, polite and professional assistance and service by the reception crew. The two rooms were as requested and described. A very friendly Jana at the reception greeted us with a smile and provided all the information and directions on all hotel amenities, hours and services. This was the second trip to the hotel that Jana greeted us, what a pleasant way to start our stay. Free parking included, plus a generous hot and cold breakfast buffet is offered from 6:30 to 9:30. We have used this hotel many times over the years because of its great service and reasonable price. A 35 minute $37 Uber ride to the centre of Toronto. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn Markham.
We were very impressed with this hotel. It was efficient, clean, and the staff were all very friendly. The room was modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good too. Only downsides were half the pillows were down we have someone with a feather allergy and the bed made us roll toward the centre. Parking was great and we even commented on how nice the carts were for the luggage. Very convenient location.
Exceptional Service!nWe had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Special shoutout to the front desk and housekeeping teams — nothing was too much trouble.nManagement is clearly doing a fantastic job. The hotel was spotless, breakfast was great, and everything ran so smoothly.nHighly recommend this property. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!
The people at this hotel really make the stay. You will feel welcome and they will take care of any concerns. In particular was Sam the manager, who was very engaging and on the ball and took care of everything. She knows how to deal with people and cares. Additionally I found all staff were always attentive and helpful and kind. In particular in the morning the breakfast crew like Gloria and Evangeline were very on the ball keeping everything fresh and moving and very kind when asked of any requests despite the rush. Overall very nice people who are here to make your stay enjoyable and accommodate any reasonable requests. The hotel itself is pretty standard for modern hotels nothing exceptional but the rooms seemed clean and the beds were comfortable but the people really made all the difference.
We had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn, and we especially want to recognize Samantha for going above and beyond to help us.nnWe arrived earlier than expected from Ottawa, and Samantha was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. She was able to assist us with a discount for dinner and, more importantly, kept us updated throughout the afternoon about when our room would be ready. I had a Zoom meeting scheduled for 3:00 PM, so knowing what was happening and having her keep us in the loop made a big difference.nnHer professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help really stood out. Thank you, Samantha, for making our stay easier and more enjoyable. Excellent customer service!
