I had a mixed experience with Monte Carlo Inn. While the front desk staff were very nice, polite, and helpful, which I appreciated. However, I can only give the Inn a 3-star rating.nThe room was fine, especially considering the price, but I had a negative experience shortly after checking in. After 6pm, I was waiting for the elevator to take me to the floor. An elevator stopped at the lobby level and a staff member with a garbage cart was inside. As the elevator went down to the basement, I had to wait and ended up taking the same elevator where the staff delivered the garbage. The problem is not they uses the guest elevator for moving the garbage, but I noticed dirty water from the garbage cart was around the floor, which left a very bad impression on me.nFurthermore, when I checked in, the front desk asked how often I needed the room made up - once a day or every two days. Since I was only staying for three days, I opted for every two days. On the second day, I left the room at 9:30am, hung the clean-up sign on the door, and returned at 6pm to find my room m was untouched. That was fine, but I need a bath towel and found that the phone in my room wasn’t working either.nFor all these reasons, I think 3 stars is the best I can give to this Inn.
Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommended!nnI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.nnThe breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day. What stood out was the abundance of scenic attractions nearby, perfect for sightseeing and exploring.nnThe hotel also has a fantastic array of activities, including games, golf, pedal boats, and a refreshing swimming pool. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and have a great time!
Clean room, comfy bed, quiet and the sheets are soft. I loved the fact that there is a whirlpool in the room. My 1yo loved it!nThe stay included breakfast, which was great too! You could upgrade it for $8 and get eggs and meat of your liking. Pretty good deal too. The only part that was upsetting is the staffing of the restaurant. There was too little people for the amount of visitors. The staff was amazing, very polite, positive and courteous but you could see they struggle a lot and are behind on cleaning tables with the amount of people that came in at 9am. Increase your staff number in the morning!nOtherwise - very happy with the stay. Definitely coming back there.
I have stayed here several times because the rooms are nice and reasonably priced. However, the restaurant staff during breakfast are consistantly unfriendly and unhelpful. More customer service training is necessary.
The staff are now welcoming to all. He made a big deal because he did not like my credit card. Then he lied about how long it would take to get my deposit back. He tried repeatedly to make me cancel my reservation. The room we got was dirty. The floors were not clean at all. We had spilled coffee on them, and there was dirt and hair all over. We asked to have the room cleaned five minutes after we got into it. The cleaning lady came and picked up some hair but did not want to wash the floors. We noticed other guests checking in would get two bottles of water from the front desk, and we didn't get any. We went to the vending machine to buy some, and it was empty. When we asked the front desk where we could get water, we were told to use that empty vending machine. When we told them it was empty, they charged us for one bottle of warm water. We 1000% won't ever go back. I wish this review would let me post the pitchures.
