This was the worst hotel we stayed at through our trip across eastern Canada. The hotel was unassuming to say it nicely. The shower head would not stay in the holder so basically we had to hold it the entire time we bathed. The air condition was terrible- full blast for literally the entire time we were there and it never actually got better than like stagnant warm. The room felt gross like it isn't actually cleaned. We pulled out the sofa bed in our room and the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed prior. It was just not good. Wouldn't recommend.
I felt safe in this location, only 20 minutes from downtown Toronto, service was amazing! Very kind workers.. decent little breakfast in the am! I asked for a gluten free option & they provided me a delicious gluten free muffin! Rooms were clean! Good temperature control in the rooms, Good experience over all! Only thing I wish is that the curtains closed a bit better for full darkness!
Booked 2 rooms for two nights, each with 1 king bed. The room was clean and well-airconditioned. The room had one king-sized bed, one study desk + chair, two side tables, 1 single couch + book table, 1 dresser and 1 TV. The curtains included opaque ones so you could sleep in complete darkness. I slept well.nnThere is a complimentary continental breakfast included with an extra $8 charge if you want eggs and meat. You have to go to reception, get a coupon and then go to the breakfast area just down the hall. One interesting thing though, the staff didn't allow us to take any food back to the room. Curious why this restriction...nnAnyways, the location is near the 407 in Markham and has several restaurants Asian, south Asian, fast food, etc nearby that also cater to halal dietary preferences.
Stayed in the hotel for a few nights, and as I entered the hotel, it was alot better than I expected. Very clean, well decorated, and pretty. Workers there were very kind and welcoming. The pool was very nice and clean, the gym was nice too, and as for breakfast, we get free breakfast, or if you'd like to have a better meal to be made just for you, you'd just have to pay. And for the rooms, they were so pretty, they clean very very clean, heated up room for you. The room seemed very proper and great value looking, which was really nice. So If you're looking for a cheap hotel yet beautiful hotel...This is the place. I highly recommend on try it out for a vacation. Thank you Monte Carlo Inn & Suites!!
Bathtub didn't have grab bars and was elevated. Very difficult to get in and out of. For anyone with arthritis, limited leg movement or any balance issues, I would recommend a handicap accessible room. I was unable to get a shower without being helped in and out of the tub.
