I waited a week to write this review.nI had the worst check in experience of my life. The lady at the front desk was so rude.nI made a reservation for my family of 5. 2 adults twin daughters who are 9 and 14 month old. Upon checking in I was told we will need to charge your card and additional 30$ without giving me a reason why I asked why? With extream attitude I was told you have 5 guests in one room you either pay the 30$ or book an additional room!nI replied no worries I don’t actually have my 14 month old son with me. That should have been the end of the conversation however the lady at the front desk started in on me asking where my son was if he’s not with me.n1. This absolutely non of your business I’m checking into a hotel not checking into a different countryn2. My son was in fact with his grandparents in Kelowna and it was only the 4 of us.nnAfter my check in I asked the same lady at the front desk if the pool was open. She very rudely told me it was closed for the night and wouldn’t be open until the morning.nnWe were supposed to stay for two nights and we checked out of the hotel the next morning and will never return.nnI brought this issue up the honours app and was told I could stay 1 free night as long as it was in the month of October.nnAfter driving over 14 hours to check into your hotel I should not of felt interrogated by your staff.nnAlso there was dust on the picture frames and thick layer of dust on the tissue box that was empty. Hairs in the shower from the previous guest.nHotel hasn’t been updated in yearsnThis location should not qualify to hold the Hampton name.

Front desk staff were pleasant. Stay was good, underground parking so my vehicle was safer. We appreciate all the staff do every morning to put on a hot breakfast for guests. There's a pool and hot tub. Location is within distance of many malls, restaurants etc.

Many years ago, I stayed at this Hampton for many days. Back then it was a great place and still is. This recent stay, we received great service and our room was very clean impeccable. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, including protein. I appreciated the fact that they had a fitness room, pool, and sauna even though we didn't use them. Also, they have a little store by the front desk to get toothpaste, etc., and snacks. Parking underground during winter was an added bonus. We will also use a Hampton Inn and Suites because it's a good chain.

Hotel is old and rundown:n- elevators are dilapidated and slow. Need key to get to the parking garage on one and not the other which is really fun after you checked out and returned your key.n- walls are paper thin. Could hear word for word the cleaning staffs conversion outside my room before 8am. Always a nice way to wakeup.n- little to poor ventilation in the bathrooms.n- Small rooms, and not worth the rate I paid.nnOnly high point was the staff. They are very friendly and were helpful.

The front desk worker wouldn't let us check into our 2 queen bed room because we had 1 extra young child 7 years old than was reserved. Was told it was against regulation. She didn't offer to help us at all and just stated we can cancel if we want. This left us with having to find another hotel room with 3 very disappointed children who were very excited to check in and use the pool. We ended up checking into a holiday inn who were awesome and let us check into the same type of room with 3 kids no problem. I understand policy, insurance requirements etc but why would anybody with 3 kids stay here and have to purchase 2 rooms when you can go elsewhere where this situation is a non issue.
