Fairmont Palliser, Calgary

I’m not sure why this hotel is rated only four stars when its ambiance and service are stellar. Just so happens that its charm lends perfectly to the Christmas season too, so it was the perfect time to come.nnI have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant Hawthorn. It’s in a class all its own. The food, especially the clam chowder, and service are outstanding.nnA truly enjoyable spa experience too.nnThis would be my only go-to place should I ever return to Calgary.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Calgary! The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little outdated in terms of décor and furnishings. Despite that, everything worked well, and I had a pleasant stay. Overall, it's a great value, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Calgary. Would love to see some updates to the rooms in the future!

We had stayed for Gold room for two nights this time. We had excellent service during the stay. Gold lounge was gorgeous and well organized.nAll gold floor staff members made our stay at the hotel the best it could be.nThis was one of our greatest experience of staying Fairmont gold. No disappointed and everything described for us this time.nWe will definitely come back there near future.

I stayed here with my mother and aunt over the weekend for my aunts 60th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The service was really good, everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is really worth it to upgrade to the gold room. The evening canapés and morning breakfast that is included with this was so lovely! Our room was spacious, although there wasn’t much of a view out the window. We didn’t mind though because the hotel itself is stunning and had its Christmas decorations all up with beautiful Christmas trees everywhere. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful and the Hawthorne dining room had delicious food. Will definitely return!
