Fairmont Palliser, Calgary

My stay had a mix of positives and negatives. Initially, I was disappointed with the room considering the price. I was expecting amenities like a hot tub, the room felt quite dry, and it took some time to cool down. The shower also had a few issues. That said, the room itself was modern, clean, and well-finished. I would note that if you prefer a firmer mattress or have back problems, the beds may feel a little softer than expected.nnWhat really stood out was the service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional, from the front desk team to the supervisor or manager who welcomed me at check-in. When I raised concerns about the room temperature, a maintenance employee named Jeffery responded promptly and professionally. He helped get the room cooled down, assisted me with some Wi-Fi issues, and even showed me a couple of websites that make it easier to reach hotel Wi-Fi login pages. Since I’m not very tech-savvy, I really appreciated that he even wrote them down for me.nnWhile the room itself wasn’t perfect, the excellent customer service throughout the hotel made a big difference. The staff genuinely cared about making my stay better, and I left much more satisfied than I expected after my initial impressions.

I am writing to share my excellent experience with the Fairmont Palliser.nnI had arrived early for a work Conference and was staying at a different venue before transferring to the Fairmont and had come by during the night to inquire about room availability for a friend. Marvin was very attentive in addressing my inquiry as well as confirming my own booking.nnTwo days later after I have checked in at the Fairmont, I encountered Marvin in the Lobby and he greeted me by name and asked if my friend was able to secure a room after all. I have already met numerous people on my work trip and I can only imagine how many more that someone in the Hospitality industry would encounter.nnIt turns out that Marvin was a Manager but this special impression was not exclusive to him alone. When I was checking out from my stay, I was actually greeted by title and full name by the staff member, Kayleen, at Front Desk reception. Kayleen was very helpful with me during my stay and her work is a wonderful reflection of Marvin's leadership. When the Front Desk did not have the correct bills available so I could make change for tipping the housekeeping staff, she did not hesitate to go look for her Manager Marvin to get me the correct bills. This readiness to go above and beyond to resolve my minor issue was definitely much appreciated.nnI am very impressed by the attentive service provided to hotel guests. Whether it was supporting the arrival of a Conference Event or catering to a Wedding Event on site, the Fairmont Palliser did not waver in navigating these unique situations to maintain a high quality experience for Hotel Guests.

We just stayed here on a visit from Ontario after such a long time.nThe service is what was most notable and made the stay worthwhile.nUpon check in on the 23rd, Vinayak spand Georgen greeted us warmly and provided a special treat for the young one in our booking. The Hawthorn restaurant on site was filled with the most pleasant staff - Patty, Jack, Sarah, Mithul were all amazing.nThis would be the ideal place for anyone to stay at.

I don’t know where to start. I had the most incredible experience of my life. Neha is the most beautiful person I’ve met. I have not felt so much joy thank you for making our anniversary so memorable and extra special. Dennis was also fantastic. The service was incredible from these two lovely humans. I cannot thank you enough! The hotel is gorgeous and I will definitely be staying again
