Most things were good. The person who checked us in was great. The room was nice and breakfast was decent. We had a few issues though. We rented a Jacuzzi suite, my wife filled it up and turned it on. A white foam started to form and it was gross. The fridge also didn't get very cool. I mentioned this to the front desk when leaving and all I got was that they would pass my comments along. I paid a decent amount for this room and felt my concerns were not taken seriously.
There are many great things about this hotel. We felt safe, and the rooms were clean. The TV swivels, there's a full-length mirror, a microwave, a mini fridge, and even an espresso machine in the lobby. The space was decently spacious! I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.nnThe big pool was a little cold at first, but once you're in, it warms up pretty quickly. There's also a kids' pool, which was warmer, and a hot tub.nnThe breakfast here is amazing! We stayed for four nights, and each day, the options were different—sausage and eggs one day, bacon and cheesy eggs the next, and so on. There was plenty to choose from: waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, and more.nnParking is a bit limited in the front, but there is additional parking available in the back.
We’ve stayed at this location twice in the past year and it has been excellent. For us, it’s a ten minute drive to the relatives we were in town to visit.nGreat parking. Very pleasant staff. Very clean hotel and great breakfast selections.nOnly downside, lightbulbs in our room on both visits were too dim for our liking. But that’s more of a “me” problem. Being over 60, I like bright lighting!nAbsolutely would recommend.
I stay here numerous times a year and i wont go back to any of the other places i have stayed at as this is the best location, price and number one is the staff. The staff here are wonderful and make me feel like im living in a pushy condo complex or something.needless to say everyone has different experiences but I’ve been staying here over eight years and after that much time to get a feeling of a place i would say I’ve done my long term research and have no reason to look elsewhere. Stay here but just not when im there so i can get a room for sure…haha:
the middle aged guy at the front desk was extremely passive aggressive when we tried to check in for our room, saying how difficult it made his job by not having a credit card and we weren’t going to get a room after flying in from out of town. not only was this a stressful experience but he explicitly said we could not get a room without a credit card when their website says you can use credit or debit. he let us panic for about 10 minutes before saying we could use our debit to pay but was overall very unpleasant to deal with and we felt uncomfortable around him for the rest of our stay at Best Western. Other than this bad interaction the food was amazing aswell as the room. Only other comment would be that there is no room service but they were happy to provide us with good food recommendations.
