The hotel feels newly renovated — the rooms are modern, spotless, and smell great. The bed is super comfortable, the towels are soft, and everything feels fresh and well-maintained.nnThe amenities are fantastic: the gym has everything you could possibly need and more, and the pool and hot tub are a good size and very relaxing. There’s even a sauna, which was a great bonus.nnThe staff are outstanding — friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay.nnIt’s not a high-end luxury hotel, but for the price, the quality is excellent. You really get great value here — comfortable, clean, and stylish without the premium price tag.nnThe only minor downside is the surrounding area. Calgary’s downtown, especially to the east, can feel a bit sketchy with some homelessness and drug activity nearby. The hotel itself feels very safe, but I’d recommend walking on the west side of the building if you’re heading out.
Our stay at Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel’s location in the heart of downtown made exploring the city incredibly convenient, and our room offered an impeccable view that made every morning feel special.nnThe room itself was spotless—clean, tidy, and clearly well taken care of. It provided a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our stay.nnA very special shout-out to Shelby, who works at Shoe & Canoe Public House. Her service was truly outstanding. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Team members like her elevate the whole experience and reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellent hospitality.nnOverall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown to anyone visiting the area. We’d definitely return!
We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.nnI called the hotel in advance to ask about any special welcome service to make the occasion memorable. I was told nothing could be arranged. Even with that low expectation, we were surprised to find that there wasn’t even a simple welcome note or acknowledgment of our anniversary upon arrival.nnThe hotel itself is clearly showing its age, and many of the amenities one would expect from a property of this standard are either missing or no longer offered. Basic items such as robes, slippers, and even a luggage rack were not provided in the room and had to be requested.nnAdditionally, the hot tub appeared not to have been cleaned in quite some time, which was concerning and further diminished the overall experience.nnOverall, this stay did not meet expectations for a special occasion or for a hotel of this category. We left feeling disappointed and would hesitate to return or recommend it for celebrations.
We stayed at Delta Hotel downtown and we loved our room that had a great view of the Calgary tower. It was spacious, clean, with easy access to the indoor +15 system. They also had a great underground parkade. Would definitely stay there again.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at during my travels. Room was clean, spacious, aircond works well for both heater it was -22C when I was in Calgary and cooler, everything works well, topped with good location in Chinatown area don't worry for food selections. Good breakfast also.nI'd like to highlight the service from Vanessa in the restaurant. She was so attentive and cheerful, I highly appreciate the hospitality provided by her and also a front office lady forget to ask her name. I definitely will be staying here again when I am back to Calgary. A definite recommended hotel!nRegards from Indonesia.
