Only stayed for one night but we had a great experience. Very friendly staff greeted us, and we were promptly checked in. Our room was clean and the concierge was able to have robes and slippers brought to our room for pool usage. The pool/hottub were clean and towels were restocked while we were there. There is even a sauna in each of the change rooms. Thank you for a great experience!
Such lovely hospitality!nWe arrived late after a delayed flight and having collected a hire car from the airport. We were tired and a bit frazzled with driving on the right side of the road English!nI popped in to ask directions to the car park which was actually really easy explaining we’d had a long drawn out day, and when we both came back in the lovely lad on reception handed us a bottle of water each - so very kind and thoughtful!nOur room was lovely, we came downstairs to eat at gone 10.30pm but were served some lovely food and the bar staff were super welcoming and helpful.nThis is how you do hospitality. Bravo team! And thank you! :
We stayed here at the beginning and end of our holiday. The location is great for seeing Calgary and access to the airport. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beds were comfy. But what makes the hotel stand out is the amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. The food in the Shoe and Canoe was so good too. Would 100% recommend to stay here.
Was here for a conference for my dad, my mom and i tagged along as my grandfather is in the hospital. The maids were not very good, many stains in the washroom, the sheets did not get changed and had a stain. We were not given our toiletries. We had to change rooms as the last night had been booked by someone else apparently, this was not communicated, we did also confirm at the desk that we would have our room for our entire stay. Instead we were treated like intruders, we got locked out of our room after we went to get breakfast, we were very confused, and an employee came out of a employee room and told us they deactivated our keys, we had at least 3 hours before checkout, he made us show ID to allow us back into our room, thankfully we had it on us and he took our keys from us to reactivate. This was around 9am. I believe a call or heads up at the desk checking in would have sufficed as this was so unprofessional and disrespectful. They had us go to the front desk to find our new room, and did not have it set up for us or know what room we are going to. We were eventually transferred to a different much smaller room, there was stains on the lamp shade. The couch bed was not made. This room was just thrown at us last minute. We were given a plate of 6 bite size cheesecakes to thank us for understanding. We didn’t have much of a choice. We left pretty upset. The female staff were very kind though.
Staff are super helpful - here driving a 45ft coach bus, and bellhops have been on the ball saving a parking space while I'm out. The oversize parking area is not huge, so definitely arrange in advance if you need this.nnRooms are very clean, beds comfy, huge walk-in shower. Restaurant in lobby is well priced and good food, just not a huge menu. Staff friendly there as well.
