One of the worst hotel I would say. Even though prices are way higher than everywhere else, parking wasn’t free. They charged $28 per night. I called in for room cleaning service the next day morning and when I came back in the evening, things were not done properly at all. This is not expected from so called Marriot. Also bathroom doesn’t have curtains in the shower . I would suggest, do not waste money with this hotel, instead stay at the Holiday inn.nI would give negative reviews if I could.
This is one of the hotels I frequent a lot for work. From the second I check in to the second I check out, it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is so friendly, I’ve never had a rude or bad conversation with them even when I have to check in super late or check out very early. You can tell the staff is all friends and they enjoy their jobs. I was one time injured during a stay here injured else where, broke ankle and the staff made so many accommodations to make sure I was taken care of.nnAs for the rooms, always clean. Microwave & actual working fridge/freezer in rooms. Tv connects to multiple streaming services including Netflix. You’re provided with free water bottles and there are more in the lobby that you can take at any time. Free water is probably my favorite thing about staying here.nnLocation, location, location!! Yes there is a “major” road that passes in front of the hotel but you cannot hear it & that road connects you into downtown. 5 minute walk from convenience stores, restaurants & more.nn5 stars always. Would absolutely stay here outside of work if I needed to be in RIC.
The pool was out of service, which was disappointing since it was the main reason we chose to stay. This was not mentioned anywhere before our arrival—we only found out at check-in. Had we known in advance, we would have considered other options. The lack of communication about this was frustrating and impacted our overall experience.
Overall a good hotel! Friendly staff up front and nice rooms. Great location too! Just wish parking was included
The Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms and clean and nice. The location is subjective. It’s on the corner of Chinatown. Everything is an easy walk from the location.
