Is a fantastic hotel right near the cruise port. My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise. Took train from airport. Harborfront Station is a block and a half from hotel. Easy to roll our luggage to hotel. Cruise port is two blocks away. Again, easy to roll your luggage.nnOur room was beautiful -- one-bedroom suite with separate living room and great view of water. Service is incredible! Staff is awesome. Concierge, Ippe, gave great restaurant recommendation. In turn, restaurant gave us a free appetizer from the hotel plus table with fabulous harbor view.nHad breakfast at hotel restaurant. Chef made the French toast with gluten-free bread! Not an easy thing to do. Was delicious and a work of art.nI have been Marriott Bonvoy Titanium for years. Lots of stays in lots of Marriotts. Delta Vancouver Downtown Suites is a gem. Stay here. You will be happy you did.
We arrived at 1:40 AM due to a long airport delay, but we were warmly greeted at the door. A gentleman opened the door, welcomed us in with freshly baked cookies, handed us our room keys, and provided a map of downtown Vancouver. He even upgraded us from a King size bed suite to a two Queen size beds suite without any extra charge, which we appreciated since check out was at 11:00 AM the same day. He even suggested we get a good night’s rest.nnThe hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre. The subway station is nearby, but we didn’t have time to use it due to our flight delay.nnI highly recommend this hotel. It’s well maintained and modern. The living room and desk are separate from the bedroom, which was a nice touch.nnThere’s a friendly doorman who always opens the door for us and can help us with directions if needed.nnOne security feature I appreciated was the use of a room key to access the elevator. It felt safe knowing we had to use our key to get to our room. At 1:40 AM, the area at the front of the hotel entrance was quiet and peaceful.nnWe didn’t use the hotel’s parking, but we did take a taxi cab from the YVR airport to the hotel for $46 CDN flat rate plus tip.nnOverall, we had a great experience and would definitely return to this hotel if we visit Vancouver again.nnWe were pleasantly surprised to find 4 complimentary sealed water bottles in the room. The gentlemen at the front desk mentioned it. This small detail really made a difference. Thank you Delta for making our short stay enjoyable and memorable.nnWe didn’t realize we were next door to Fraser University.
This has been an exceptional hotel stay. Staff, food, rooms - all excellent. I can't honestly say that there is anything I could ding them for. The staff in particular has been awesome. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and a very short walk to Gastown.
We had a wonderful stay at Delta Vancouver Suites and would happily return. The hotel is ideally located in downtown Vancouver, making it easy to walk to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and key attractions. It’s a great base for exploring the city.nnThe suite itself was a highlight—spacious, well-designed, and comfortable, with a separate living area that made the stay feel more relaxed and practical, especially for a longer visit. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.nnService throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions, recommendations, or any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.nnOverall, the hotel offered a great balance of comfort, space, and convenience in a central location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would recommend Delta Vancouver Suites to anyone visiting Vancouver, especially those looking for extra space and a more suite-style experience in the city.
The Delta Hotel offers friendly and welcoming staff, clean and well-maintained rooms that are small but thoughtfully designed, and an excellent location.nOne of the highlights for Titanium Elite members is the breakfast benefit at the restaurant on the first floor. The food is delicious and of excellent quality, making it a great way to start the day. The restaurant staff are also very friendly and provide outstanding service.nOverall, I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return in the future.
