Davidson's valu-mart

Opened bags of food on shelves. Prices are pretty good. Cashiers seem unfriendly. No one looked happy working there. Negative atmosphere. Don't even try getting the attention of the deli staff. Laughable!

Convenient location and for the most part, great customer service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. This store is pricier than most grocery stores. The people stocking the shelves are always friendly and helpful and you'll always see someone around if you have questions. It's a hit or miss with the cashiers. For example when I buy bread and canned items, the cashier just rams all the cans into the bread... After a few times I've learned not to go to the regular check out lines if you have anything delicate. It'll get destroyed as they don't really seem to care, only trying to scan your items as fast as possible, which works great if I don't have bread or eggs etc. Only go to the express line with delicate items as they seem to pay more attention to little details like that and havn't had a problem since. Pay attention to the price when they scan your items. 3 times in the last 5 months the scanner charged more than the advertised price, which rarely happens to me except here. Loblaws and Shoppers will give you either a discount or free if it happens. This place doesn't. 4.5/5 for customer service. 4.5/5 for product availability. 0.5/5 for reliability/management because it's a scam when you keep charging more than the advertised price and doing nothing to fix it even after being informed about it for weeks. Averaging it out to 3/5.

Davidson's valumart is a great store. Nice staff,clean store,great selection and they also have a delivery service and a shop and deliver service. What store in the neighborhood can you get your groceries without leaving your living room? I highly recommend this store. Hours are 6am till 11pm

My favourite place to pick up groceries. Great prices, right next to Woodbine Station. Perfect size - nice and small so you can get in and out quickly.

Pretty expensive compared to most of the local fruit and vegetable stores nearby. No Frills on lakeshore or Gerrard would be a much better value. No grocery carts, and awkward layout makes it a difficult place to find everything you are looking for. Consider any of the local stores instead. Only benefit is that it’s right near the subway.
