Foodland - Toronto

Feels like the local grocery store of the little town of Beaches. Small, cosy, perhaps a bit quaint, but very decent selection of products. Staff is quite friendly and most are genuinely interested in helping you find what you need. Although the produce section is limited, right next door is Carload to satisfy all your wants and desires for fresh fruit and vegetables.

Meat gone bad before "the best before date". I come to this store very frequent for grocery as it's so convenient. Food in general is ok except for meat. It's been three times that meat gone bad before the best before dates. We didn't bother to bring it back to store for the first two times as it's awful to carry stinky meat plus we have two kids which means no time. I did call the store and let them know as I really hope they can improve. Sadly it happened again. We switch to Rowe Farm for meat.

Small location but wonderful staff with decent amount of vegan options that are every expanding. Great place to shop!

Foodland has great deals at unbeatable prices, and they do not charge tax. If an item is advertised at $2.99, that is the amount you pay. Great selection, helpful and nice staff. Smiles all around. Highly recommended.

Pricey with old-school narrow aisles, staff are great, good deli, wide selection for such a small store. Good produce, fast checkout. Family owned.
