Food are fresh, e.g meats, vegetables, fruits Prices are reasonable medium among all the markets, not the cheapest

If it was possible I would give the Todmorden Sobeys no stars. This is one of 2 reviews that are negative and I truly hope Sobeys reads this and steps up their game. I have been going to this Sobeys for over 20 years. While it has always been a second rate store at least the prices reflected this. Now the prices are higher than the Leaside Longos and the level and standard of products and produce is inferior. I am in the food industry and have never seen lettuces of this terrible quality for the prices they are. Packages carrots etc have mould and black spots. The meats are often not filled and there are many Basile’s that can not be had like necks and backs for soup, often whole roasts. Ground meats other than beef. There is Philadelphia cream cheese and that’s the only one yet this store butts up against multi million dollar homes. The bakery is humerous. The self check out takes longer than standing in line. All in all I would like nothing more than to re write this review so Sobeys pay attention.

overpriced....prices changing so fast they often are overcharging they now no longer honor free if charged more than shelf price.. if you have bad eyes or are a senior you get to pay even more.. bakery sells frozen pies as fresh.. hot food like wings and cabbage rolls are awful.. i will no longer shop here.... is there no manager?

I bought a kale salad here. I thought it tasted funny, and I was devastated to find a huge DIRTY piece of kale in the well boxed salad that Sobeys had for sale. Weren’t you taught to wash vegetables before consuming them? Or is it because you’re selling them to customers you don’t know so you don’t care?

Smallish store. Good for everyday things but don't look for anything special. Clean store. Staff are friendly when you can find someone. Can't stand the self checkouts at Sobeys though. Loblaws self checkout is waaaaay better.

Great salad selection. By the way, the one I chose was delicious. Unfortunately I was not able to buy my favorite olive oil, ACROPOLIS ORGANICS as this store does not have it.

I stop here regularly because the location is convenient, but for a Sobey's, I find their selection of things, especially international foods, to be limited. Yes, they have some things. No, they don't have everything. I get the sense they only want to stock what flies off the shelf and not specialty items.

Was accused of shoplifting today and didn't get an apology when I showed them my receipt. Went to this store for years but with this, and their crazy prices, today was my last visit.

Night staff working at this location is unprofessional and disrespectful. Usually, when you come during day time it’s much better experience. Management needs to train night staff and hire people who are really willing to give good customer service according to Sobeys standards.

This is honestly the most insanely overpriced place around. When it was 24hrs, I could understand paying a little bit extra for the convenience but that little bit extra is now at least 40% more than other places. Prices have jumped by at least 20% on most items. Even with delivery fees from Walmart, Walmart is the way to go. Everything from salad dressing to BBQ sauce to pecan pie is less expensive for the same product. Unless the item is on sale, avoid this place at all costs!!!! No clue how they stay in business or justify the upcharge.
