Great neighbourhood family owned supermarket. I have bought Barese spiral shape sausage, real Italian provolone cheese, whole slab of pork belly with skin on, pork souvlaki$2.50 each, etc. Find meat price is better than some of their produce price. So far whatever I bought met my expectations, I especially enjoyed provolone cheese. Service is always friendly and very helpful.
An iconic Danforth authentic Italian family run deli and market which has been at this location for forty or fifty years. The store is small but packed with every Italian product imaginable. The quality of the deli meats and cheeses is incomparable, and there are many types of charcuterie that are almost impossible to find elsewhere. Their fresh meat county is a throwback to when the butcher was king...only the best and every customer is served individually. A huge selection of pastas, oils, vinegars, Italian cookies, cakes, candy etc. At Christmas they must have Toronto's largest selection of Panettone...all sizes, shapes and prices. Fresh bread is delivered daily from several bakeries. There is a small but comprehensive fresh produce section. The staff are great. Always helpful and friendly. Parking is on the street only. and can be difficult on a Saturday morning...so go early! I know they take phone orders and deliver but I have not used that service so cannot comment. I lovely plave and I highly recommend.
Maria is the best! Great product selection. Fresh produce. Great prices for charcuterie items, possibly the best including quality in the east end.
Fantastic sandwiches! A variety of deli meats and cheeses to choose from on the freshest buns. They also bring the greatest produce to our local school for our student nutrition program. Great folks to support here!
NOT AN INCLUSIVE SPACE. Misogyny and homophobia at the grocery store. I traveled across town specifically to go to this shop as it is one of the few places you can by Gigi pasta. While shopping two aisles over I could hear one of the staff members older man talking to another staff member younger man telling him about Keith Richards and Princess Diana. Women were referred to as broads and twice when discussing Elton John he called him a f@gg*t. I dropped my full basket and walked out.
Great Italian grocery store. Lots to choose from and cuts of meat and deli meats are exceptional.
It's a local neighborhood mini supermarket. Convenient location but parking is not free on the street. It offers fresh vegetable, meat, fruits, bottle food. Great cheese section and do have many imported Italian gourmet seasonal products. I got several panettone yesterday. They r pretty good brands
Wonderful proximity shop with a lot of variety and great quality. Lovely staff too!
It is a good mini market to make a quick buy of groceries. Fruit, jam, vegetables are always available.
Love this gem of a neighbor grocery store. Great meat and deli department. They never run out of food!
