Service was great, but the concept fell flat for me! Very sad about this because I came in excited and ready to love it. - first, the good. Fitz served us and was great! We were celebrating a birthday and got some prosecco and cheesecake. Thank you Fitz! - their cheesecake was AMAZING. One of the best I’ve in had in years - the raspberry sauce was special What didnt click for me: - the menu and the changing prices were on small plasma tvs that were hard to read. Where my seat was facing, there was no tv accessible / menu - turning around was a bit awkward. - they dont give you any rationale for how often the prices change, and what happens if the price changes between ordering a drink and receiving it - it could be random for all we know. - the cheapest drink i saw was $11 on a Thursday night. For the concept, the prices and fluctuation just felt very surface level. The presentation/display felt a bit tacky - with three ‘dips’ that come with the fries and really just three smears of sauce on a plates. It was $8 so I guess we should have figured. - Overall I feel like the decor was an afterthought for the concept. The music was too loud and the tables felt a bit big. Do not expect a cozy bar vibe - it felt more like a spaced out restaurant. Of course that is fine, but I didnt originally associate that kind of decor with a stock market themed bar. My experience was more a regular restaurant/bar that happened to have changing drink prices as an add on.
Absolutely amazing bar. Such a cool concept, servers and owners were super friendly. Food and drinks were just amazing. Decor is beautifully done. Just wish the music was a bit lower and maybe more smooth jazz would fit the vibe. Other than that it’s just amazing perfect for a big group or even just a few looking for a fun and sophisticated night.
I love this place. Good idea, nice interior, cocktails were super delicious and interesting. Steak was beautifully cooked. Really enjoyed my time there
Reasonable pricing for food selections and a variety of drinks on the menu. Even for non-alcoholic drinkers there’s a lot of choices to choose from. Very unique style that’s bringing up the game for restaurants in Toronto! I recommend the negroni drink.
If you are a server looking for work, DO NOT APPLY HERE!! They do not pay their staff on time, and play games with you. The owners and managers do not care about their staff. How are you supposed to keep people when you are not paying then on time, and make the servers pay a ridiculous percentage to the back of the house and hostess' that have no experience. Who do all of you think you are to do this? Also the kitchen was serving raw chicken wings. Like are you serious?! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It is not worth the time, stress, or money.
1 Service is not good. Very slow. The waitresses were not the most welcoming. The restaurant was half full when I went. We ordered a burger and a salad. The salad took over 40 mins to come out, while the burger came in 15. It doesn’t make sense that the two dishes come 30 mins apart. 2 I asked how the burger is cooked. The waitress said she gets it done medium. I personally like my burgers medium rare but I decided to follow her recommendation. 10 mins later a chef comes to our table and says that the patty is not ground in house so they cannot legally serve the patty anything under well done. What is this inconsistency? No worries if meat is not ground in-house but the inconsistency of information was concerning. 3 It is WAY TOO LOUD. When I was in the restaurant, I could not carry out a conversation without raising my voice quite a bit. 4 Burger was surprisingly good, considering it’s cooked well done. Juicy and flavourful. 5 The whole concept of fluctuating prices is poorly executed. The website needs more work for live pricing, such as letting you scroll through the pages. Might as well get rid of the whole concept cause it’s pretty much non existent. 6 The general restaurant vibe is off. Decor doesn’t flow, kitchen door is open, just all looks sort of unkept. I hope the restaurant takes in this feedback and improves.
Our server today, Monroe, was so great! It was so busy, we had an huge group, and she was very nice and helpful to our table definitely would recommend Monroe!!
Had dinner here last night, it was soo amazing : Such a unique concept, with the drinks prices fluctuating with demand.Great service, great food and the best manhattan i have ever had.
Great place for chilling, really like the concept of this bar, very unique. Food and drinks were outstanding and host was very welcoming.
