Was really looking forward for this restaurant to open in downtown Toronto. We were excited to learn that it opened this week and we visited the place with high expectations... We were not disappointed at all. We were really delighted by the overall experience and food. Food was really elevated and had the perfect balance of flavor, taste, and presentation. We also got an amazing service which was a major highlight of our visit. This place is my new favorite for Indian food and would love to return back soon. Again, highly recommended for the quality of food and service this restaurant provides. A must try for all the connosiuers of Indian food or high-end decently priced food!
Visited this place just after 3 days of its opening. Ambiance is perfect being in core downtown.. food - Awesome taste. Perfect quality. Service is good. It’s being the first week, probably they didn’t expect it fully occupied which it was so felt service was little slow. Overall best Indian food I ever had in Toronto.
We had such a great experience at Khazana! The food, ambiance and service were amazing. The shrimp curry is to die for and I can’t wait to go back for more. The truffle chicken was also amazing and the portions were great. The food is so flavourful and plated beautifully. The restaurant is super modern and a great place for a nice dinner out. Our waitress made excellent recommendations on must-try dishes, pairings, and portions. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
My wife and I visited Khazana this past weekend for dinner and had an amazing meal. They had an excellent menu full of delicious choices. The ambience provides a very classic and modern vibe. Most impressive of all was the staff that treated us and many others promptly and with utmost importance. If you're looking for a fine dining experience with excellent service, this is the place to be! Definitely coming back!
I have been in Canada over a year now and I am so glad finally Khazana has opened up in downtown. The best north indian mughlai food that will take you back to your indian kitchen. Loved the jodhpuri paneer tikka and masaala chaach to start with. Everything from interiors to decor to service and staff is great. Feels like home. We ordered dal makhani and Lucknow special murg dish in gravy. Authentic flavours true to the palette. Could eat their entire variety of naans but we were so full. Amazingly fresh food and Aditya did a great job at making sure we were well taken care of. Will come back to try more items on menu. Gulab Jamun cheesecake was a little dry but again very innovative dish.
A unique experience, blending authentic Indian dishes with a tasty twist. We were very pleased with the taste and the service. The atmosphere was very comfortable but relaxed. Definitely recommend if you are downtown Toronto!
Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Downtown just besides Eaton Centre. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes walk away from home. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. I had a 3 course meal: Starting with Tomato Rasam, Jodhpuri Papad Paneer Tikka and, Patiala Style Lotus Stems as appetizers, then moving on to main course in the form of Dum Bhukhara Aloo and surprisingly thin, crispy Garlic and Chives Naan and finishing off with a marvellous dessert creation, The Fortune Nest. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was a perfect balance. The images I've attached as a reference can attest to the appeal. Service was delightful and very professional. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Definitely 10/10 on that frontier. PS: Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an elite experience to eat in Downtown Toronto.
Mixed Experiences on this one! The Quality of the food and ingredients was good, service was great and the staff was super friendly...But the real topic of this review "The Food" was not that mind-blowing to be coming out of the Kitchen of a renowned chef "Sanjeev Kapoor". We ordered 2 Large Plates "Chicken Qorma" and "Paneer Makhni" which our server suggested was sufficient for 2 people each.....Trust me when I say this IT WASNT! The food portions were small and pretentious and not at all as advertised. So...NOT the best place to come if you're starving. KHAZANA is more of a Boujee setting if you wanna bring your date and pretend that you can survive on some Mirco greens and enjoy some well plated desi food lol As for Taste..Paneer Makhani was very basic. I can recreate the same Paneer Makhani gravy in my own kitchen No CAP. Had a very butter chicken flavored taste and mouth feel to the Paneer Makhani gravy. The Paneer Quality was great though ..it was soft it should be Chicken Quorma ...was rich, delicious and flavorful with a smokey aftertaste. This dish would've been great if the portions were also good and justified for the price. As for Breads..The Garlic Naan was Amazing and Delicious. The Parantha...Was more of a thinner, dryer Tandoori Roti and such a major fail to someone who grew up eating much better and superior Paranthas at roadside Dhabas in India. The best part of the meal was the condiments ..The green Chutney and pickled onions were Amazing! and highlight at Khazana. Overall word..Taste of the food is Not bad but also not Amazing and the food portions could be much better.
We are food lovers and always on the lookout to try food in Indian Restaurants. Were definitely looking forward for Sanjeev Kapoor’s treat in Downtown. The restaurant didn’t let us down in any way. Enjoyed the food thoroughly. The Lotus Stem appetizer was beyond than just scrumptious. Abhish did a wonderful job in recommending and serving us the best. We will definitely visit this place again.
We visited this place this weekend as had heard a lot about it. It definitely has an fine dine interior also the staff is very good. We tried a starter and main course. The starter was really good chicken was tender and we'll presented. The naan we ordered were exceptional. However the main course ruined the experience for me. The gravy was bald it did not have a flavour atall.
