General impression. Satisfactory. Pros: +We were served by a nice man who helped us with the choice and was attentive to us. +Nice food and drinks. +They quickly brought the order and took away unnecessary dishes. +But the biggest plus is the atmosphere, if you come from Eastern Europe, you will like the interior, not typically clean and nice place for Canada! Cons: -No dress code for staff. You will not be able to distinguish your waiter from the visitor. Some of the employees tried to be in black, but the other part apparently decided otherwise. — We were included in the check drinks that were brought by mistake, despite the fact that the waiter said that they would be as a "gift". - I can’t say that high prices are a cons, since everyone decides for himself what is expensive for him. But going to this bar was not a cheap pleasure. I would like to give 3.5 stars, but there is no such possibility, so let it be 4.
The place has a really nice vibe, ambient and nicely decorated. I thought the food was okay given the price, thought it should taste better. We ordered the chicken bites, salmon donburi, the chicken main, and cauliflower cheese. The cauliflower cheese was amazing! However I feel like the chicken was a bit dry and I had to rub the thyme on it? It was garnished with the raw herb? Anyhow, the flavors were still good
I would give a 4 star but we really didn’t see what all the hype was about for this restaurant… the food was good but nothing special. I ordered a cocktail from our server’s recommendation but tried one sip and didn’t like it at all… they still added it to our bill even though we asked them to take it back! We had to mention it for them to take it off. I also love my desserts but got the world’s tiniest scoop of ice cream to go with it… such a disappointment because the ice cream really brings the dessert together. Service was ok but I wouldn’t say it was worth it for the price. Not sure I would go back to this restaurant in the future unless I really had to.
Modern fusion food at its best, food was flavourful and fresh. It is hard to pick a favourite but the sliders and pork belly Bao were hard to beat. The dessert reminded me of a Twix bar in all the right ways. The cocktails are deliciously potent. Service was good to. Great ambience!
It was an amazing experience. T'was my friend's birthday, meeting up here after soo many years, the ambience is amazing, we were seated outside in the patio, they have heaters btw. The staff are friendly despite that they were super busy, but they haven't forgotten about us. We had a great time here, well if you're up to the clubbin after it's a good place to go. But would have been better if they choose good music as well, not just the tiktok famous one's you know.. Price wise? Hmmm... above the norm.. food wise? We love the chicken bites, the calamari too much salt on the batter but still edible.. drinks? The blossom or something was sold-out.. The servers said it's a popular drink, but they should have stocked up more if it's the best-seller. Anyways, over-all it's an 8/10
“Fine” is the best description for this restaurant. It’s, you know, fine. Not bad. Not memorable. My group enjoyed the food and cocktails but I wasn’t impressed. To be specific, the cod tacos had FAR too much lime juice and it ruined the taste of an otherwise fine taco. The cod was lightly battered and nicely prepared however. The pork belly bao lacked…. Well…. Pork belly. Lol. There was more pea shoot than anything else. We had a battered chicken dish that I can’t remember the name of. Similar to a general Tao. But the chicken was chopped so small that it was just batter really. The deep fried jalapeños were great. My partner liked the fries and he’s very picky about fries. The fried rice was too oily and hard. The Gyoza was like a pig In a blanket but in a gyoza. Overly deep fried or maybe it was just the shell they used that had a gritty texture and the taste of toast left in the toaster too long. The spring rolls with goat cheese were fantastic. The patio was nice and the vibe is very king street I.e. house music, neon lights, sparklers and bottle service, people with 0% body fat telling you how great this menu of deep fried delights are, etc. great selection of gin and a fun gin-bar concept. Fun drinks too. They forgot some drink orders and charged us for drinks we didn’t order so like other reviewers mentioned, keep an eye on your bill. Altogether, it’s a decent place and you’ll enjoy yourself for the evening.
The most phenomenal, exquisite cuisine. Every single dish served to us was like a new flavor explosion in your mouth. Fabulous Chef Shawn Tesoro and excellent server Dave topped the experience. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
I came here with two friends for a patio dinner. The place is very nice, really beautiful decor and patio but I didn’t know what to expect with the food given it’s part of a “club”. But with that being said - the quality was on pointttt, AMAZING food but service was slow just be mindful of that when ordering. We loved the chicken bites, lettuce wraps, cauliflower bites and must order - lemon meringue pie. The one item we wouldn’t get again however was the poke bowl, it was really bland but decent! Also the price range was very fair.
Cool spot and cool decorations and design. Tried the squid and chicken bites. The chicken bites had an amazing aioli but the squid was ok and a bit overpriced for what you're actually getting. Ambience makes up for it a bit
Genuinely don't understand the low ratings. Was there early evening. Good vibe, not pretentious, good music at the perfect volume. Feels like a secluded patio off King which is unique and refreshing. The drinks are amazing as is the food! Our waitress didn't catch her name she was the only blonde one was incredibly kind and always kept her eye on her tables. Made us feel like we were her only table - kudos to her! Food presentation was lovely as well. Def would go back.
