Cineplex Cinemas Marine Gateway and VIP

VIP is the best experience to watch a movie Good drinks and delicious burgers. The entrance way to the place sets you up for the right VIP movie going experience e the drinks are very nice. The staff is quite good. It’s overall one of the cleanest theatres around. Good washrooms. Good enough meal selection

Great viewing experience. Except customers like to order late and then you have deliveries coming in and servers standing infront of you during the film... Otherwise great venue. Friendly staff. Also some nice views if you are early or staying late for food or drinks. Will come again especially for comfort of VIP and not having people so close to me to enjoy films.

Great experience here. Kind staff and clean facilities. The theatres were very nice, had good sound quality and good screens. Great selection of food and drinks, they even have poutine! Good games at the arcade including basketball shooter, racing games, air hockey, and many more. One of my favourite theatres in Vancouver.

I recently had the chance to watch Avatar that was really good! However, the theater experience was not without its flaws. While the seats were not necessarily uncomfortable, they were not as comfortable as I would have liked, and I found myself frequently pressing the recline button in search of a more comfortable position, only to be disappointed by the slight adjustment of the seats. Additionally, our auditorium did not have the luxury of reclining seats, which would have greatly improved the comfort level. Overall, while the movie itself was good, the theater's seats could use some upgrades in order to enhance the viewing experience.

Enjoyed the VIP experience. Worth the extra dollars. Service used to be very hit and miss but lately has become quite good. Go early and chill with a beverage or have a meal then wander into your reserved seats when you want. Recommend.

Always a totally fun experience. Staff are very friendly. Went there last week to see Minions 2 with my 6 and 9 YO. Easy to park must pay, that's fine Movie Popcorn and treats Arcade after Outstanding!

The experience was pretty good. We made the mistake of ordering popcorn and soda before getting to our seats. I didn’t know that they had servers which was pretty great. My only issue was the seat was a little janky. It reclined and all that, but it felt like it needed to be replaced or reupholstered pretty soon.

We tried the VIP cinemas and it was by far the best movie experience we've had. Enjoy a drink in the lounge and then have your food served directly to your seat.

Nice little theatre in the Marine Gateway outdoor mall area and the south end of the mainland near the Airport Sea Island Right by the Skytrain stn... Just steps away to escalator and theatre entrance. Theatre is on two levels.regular screens on main level and vip screens/lounge on upper level. Regukar screens are alright at this location, but nothing special. Most are avg to small size. Cinemas 1 & 2 are large cinemas. A peak in cinema 2 though showed very low brightness on screen -- despite being marketed as an UltraAVX screen. Projector bulb needs to be changed. Screen 5 had faint, but noticeable vertical lines on bright or white areas of the screen. This seems to be an issue at several Cineplex locations across Canada and is very prominent at their VIP locations. VIP areas looks too notch at the moment. Bottom line, got to vip for a nice evening movie experience. Regular screens are good enough for avg movies, catcging a flick on a whim or comedy films. Event movies of the year, you may want to look at booking tix at another venue.

service is so good I sat comfortably, ordered food and watched it while eating. I recommend watching movies that are over 3 hours long, such as the Avatar movie, in VIP chairs like this.
