I love these old theatres and only few are left. The screen is too small, the chairs are old, the sound can use and upgrade... But, the atmosphere is great, there's always seats in good rows, great popcorn. Pure fun
A hidden GemnnI really love this independent run theatre. Prices are really decent.....and last I was there, they had free refills on their large size popcorn and drink It's been a little while, as unfortunately they only have one showing at a time......but definitely come here when they are showing a film I want to seennI personally think that they do have the best popcorn in town......Theatre is older so nostalgic clean though it is kept up, but not too much to take away that feeling how theatres were like back in the daynnJust an amazing theatre. definitely see a film here if something you want to see is playing here.......Can't wait!!!nnOh, and occasionally, you can find deals on Groupon. definitely take advantage and give this theatre a try
One of the old theatres around. Balcony front rows are great as you can stretch your legs a little bit. Street parking is available.
Good and spacious theatre for regional Indian films in the Vancouver area. It seems to have been updated in the recent times, so the screen and sound quality is good. I’d say the experience is similar to single screen theaters in India.
I couldn't believe my eyes tonight. I thought it was just a one-off when I saw ticket sales person wearing Conservative Party t-shirt about a month ago while working. Tonight every single person working there was. All staff uniforms are either straight-up Conservative candidate T-shirts or else Dunbar Theatre t-shirts but still with the candidate name and logo?nnReally disturbing if all the young people some still underage and too young to vote working there have no other option but to wear Poilievre propaganda as part of their job. We've loved this theatre for years but really got the ick tonight, and I won't be back.nnDunbar Theatre, whose horrible idea was this?!
