This is the first time at this theatre. I and the people I was with all agreed the seats were very comfy and spacious leg room. Screen size was good. Popcorn was good too. Staff were friendly. Overall we enjoyed the movie experience
A local, independent theatre - especially one of the last ones in Vancouver - should never push a political agenda. Especially not through underage/young employees and to families just looking to have a good time. Ridiculous.nnI didn’t want to go to big cineplex-type theatres and rather try to always support my neighborhood one, but seeing this conservative propaganda happen during the elections simply disgusted me. I won’t be back.nnShame on the owner!
I love these old theatres and only few are left. The screen is too small, the chairs are old, the sound can use and upgrade... But, the atmosphere is great, there's always seats in good rows, great popcorn. Pure fun
I was shocked and really disappointed to see staff here being required to wear t-shirts with political messages in support of the the owner of the theatre in his election campaign. The staff really did not seem into it. It was so awkward. I used to think of this theatre as a place of history and culture in Dunbar, but it's hard to reconcile that with the fact that the owner seeks to gut Canadian history and culture by de-funding the CBC.
Such a nice little theater! Great prices and I love the idea behind this place, I'll definitely be coming back again! Also the staff are lovely!
