Cineplex Cinemas Metropolis

Not the best place to catch a movie. Theaters are large and well set up. The place isnt well maintained. Walked into two drunk men drinking coke off of the dispenser using their hands and making a mess all over the placestaff walked by without doing anything Ambiance 7/10 Pricing 8/10 Staff and CE 3/10 Space and comfort 8/10

Comfortable, laid back and cosy amphitheater with pretty comfortable seats for your average Cineplex. The downfall is the maintenance, it's not really well looked after and people talking loudly or behaving dumb can really ruin your movie experience.

Wasn't able to see it in 3D but it didn't matter. Top Gun blew my expectations. Everyone should go watch it! I didn't watch the original and I was able to follow the story easily.

We accidentally chose the 4d theater which was really cool but crazy for sure. Went to see avatar which was very good. We got lots of popcorn and it was pretty good overall. We ended up packing on the wrong side of the mall as the mall was closed by the time we got out of the movie so we had to walk around the mall outside at night sadly, so park on the side of the theater for a late night showing.

Went to 4DX screen venue#9 for Avatar : The way of water. Best row would be C or D, and B row might be good for the large screen lover. Water sprinkle, smoke, smell effects were not super extreme but the dynamic motion chair gave me a little nausea. Overall it was great experience but I am not sure that enhanced the movie watching experience though

The theatre was good. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I watched Pathaan and my experience was excellent. The screen size is great and the sound quality was pretty good too. The seats were nice & comfortable.

4DX was okay kinda threw me off thou huge wave of water in the movie and barley feel any mist. Crazy windstorm in the movie and just slight breeze. Guy walks out of a building your thrown out of the seat. Not sure if it’s the settings or the movie but the seat was throwing people around like it was after lunch money and all the other effects were just watching and not doing or saying anything. Saw avatar by the way great film wouldn’t do the 4DX again thou.

Saw Avatar in 4dx and most of the effects didn’t work or were barely there. THERE WAS ZERO water effects in the screening I was in and considering most of the movie is on/under water that was super disappointing. Also there was supposed to be bubble effects which also did not work. The seat motion, scent and wind worked well. All other effects were either turned off or broken. I did enjoy the film though but wouldn’t do 4dx again unless these issues were fixed, I don’t recommend paying the extra money until the cinema irons out these bugs.

4D made me sea sick - fun for the first fifteen minutes, then you want to shut off the seat. The elevator was broken, the escalator was broken, the pop machines were broken. Service was good and the theater was clean.

There is no clear direction to cinema. If it is your first time you should look for silver city. Also DBox seats wasn’t comfortable chair, I prefer full recliner seat. From the parking there no good direction. You will be confuse if it is your first time. You may park outside parking front of the silver city .
