Cardel Rec South

What an amazing facility! It has all your needs under one roof. With interconnected buildings, you can easily access the library or YMCA without stepping out on a cold winter day. The library is beautifully arranged with plenty of seating throughout the facility. Plus, there's a Booster Juice and a pretzel spot.

Came here to watch our granddaughter skate. She is learning fast and the open skate was controlled well. A few young ones doing things like throwing balls down the middle of the ice, but that was quickly stopped by an adult. Lots of littles learning to skate. It was fun and well kempt arena.

My 9-year-old daughter and I recently had a fantastic experience at Cardel Rec's Learn to Skate class! We were both impressed by the facility itself - it was clean, well-maintained, and had a spacious ice rink. This made for a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment.nnBut what truly shined was the training. The instructors were engaging and patient, creating a fun atmosphere that put both kids and adults at ease. They provided clear instruction and helpful feedback, allowing us to progress at our own.nnOverall, we had a blast at Cardel Rec's skating class. It was a great way to learn a new skill together and get some exercise. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and positive introduction to skating!

An excellent complex, with everything you could ever need in it, or nearby. Four sheets of ice is unheard of these days, and I'm thankful for the space, however the only knock I can think of is that for years, regardless of the rink we're on, the ice is always very soft. Sometimes frustratingly so. On-site pro shop, lots of food options, and other amazing facilities are still the best in the area. Overall a great place to get your sweat on.

Nice place to go and watch a hockey or ringette game, and we just had a quick drink in the lounge, but it looked nice
