Chinook Mall Medical Clinic

Just went there today and I am extremely disappointed. The receptionist told me that we don’t have an appointment booked, where in fact I called their clinic last week to check and confirm our appointment. I have been coming to this clinic for years now and I noticed since they had their new set of receptionist since 2021 my family’s appointments always gets messed up. Today was the worst! I took a day off just for this appointment, came in very early and only to be told that it had been canceled. They can’t even answer properly why my appointment got canceled and NO APOLOGY from the staff. Before they call us a week prior to remind us of our appointment. Now, I should be the one to call because 1/10 they will not call. I even voice this out to my doctor last year and she was very nice and apologised on behalf of their staff. Receptionist are the frontline staff of the clinic. They should know how to solve a problem and show empathy to dissatisfied clients. If not of their good doctors we will not make appointments in here.

Update/edit: They replied to my review very shortly after I posted it to suggest I had the wrong location. Pathetic attempt at deflection, and insulting on top of everything else. Don't worry, I'm unfortunately very familiar with the location. I guess because you guys can't even handle basic appointment booking, you assume things like location details are confusing for people? If it's the clinic manger responding to these reviews, please get it together.nnAbsolutely terrible clinic at every single level. I've been going here for a couple of years now and I don't think I've ever had a single interaction with them go smoothly. The doctors are so apathetic and they're even more disrespectful of patients' time than usual. Front desk staff will constantly book things wrong and blame someone else, they'll talk loudly about your medical details in front of a full waiting room, and they can't even be reached reliably on the phone. The only reason I still go here is because it's so hard to find doctors accepting new patients these days, and chances are it'll be the exact same problems somewhere else. If there is any chance of something going wrong, the staff will find a way to ruin your day with it.nnPosted under a fake name because the staff is extremely unprofessional and I don't trust them to have my name attached to complaints and not use it against me somehow. Go here only as a last resort if you can't find anywhere else!

I went to see Dr Safi on Saturday April 20 when I went there front desk didn't tell me he's not in today they just let me in the room after that found another female doctor she's super rude doesn't speak or even read English she's got mad when I told her my appointment with Dr Safi she couldn't even told me the results of my tests and she left the room super aggressive. This clinic not recommended at all if I can give them zero I would. What a waste of time to drive from chestermere for nothing really disappointing
