Chinook Mall Medical Clinic

Visited last February 20th, 2026 due to an unbearable case of Strep/bacterial infection. Heard from my colleagues to check them out since they had pleasant experience.nnI do suggest booking the appointment on the online portal. I was able to be seen as soon as they opened. The receptionists were nice, especially my difficulty to talk at the time due to the swollen tonsils. I was seen by Dr. Obu according to my online booking email and the consultation was brief and straight forward. We did a quick strep test, haven’t heard back of the results at all though, but got my prescription and got better within 2 days. Would definitely be back hopefully not since I don’t want to be sick. I called to make an appointment on Monday morning at 9:00 am, after waiting more than 20 min on the line … the receptionist got my information and said they gonna call me back to confirm the appointment. Monday passed and I have received no call back. Tuesday morning, I proceeded to make an appointment using their website online form. Tuesday and Wednesday passed and I did not received any email or phone call from the clinic. Thursday I went in person at 4:00 pm to make an appointment, the receptionist said that the doctor will call me shortly. Thursday has passed and no call whatsoever. Friday at 9:00 am in the morning I again called to set up and appointment and told the receptionist about my frustration, she has managed to set me up for a phone call consultation with the doctor on Tuesday next week. Oh well, Tuesday has passed and nobody even tried to call me … terrible customer service. I do not recommend this clinic.nnEdit: I am not surprised about your answer, please see the proofs.

I do not recommend calling the phone number listed. Calls often go unanswered, disconnect automatically, or result in being placed on hold for extended periods up to 15 minutes without resolution.nnIf you need service, it is more effective to visit in person. Be aware that walk-in wait times can range from 15–30 minutes or longer, depending on how busy it is. Additionally, scheduling an appointment does not seem to reduce wait times, as patients are often seen well after their scheduled appointment time.nnOverall, walking in appears to be the most practical option, though wait times should be expected.

The service at this clinic is excellent. I visited as a walk-in patient and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the wait time was. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The doctor was kind and highly professional, conducted a thorough assessment, and promptly provided requisitions for additional bloodwork and an ultrasound. Overall, a very positive experience.

Terrible! Waste of time.nFirst time we booked an appointment, we came to confirm the date, they said they didn't see our appointment.nSo we rebook for another time. We show up today. And waiting for over an hour, our doctor is still busy.nWe left, was so upset. We need to go back to work. If their time is so important, how about the other peoples time?nnWhy get a family doctor when walk ins are much more important.
