I love this place! Alter Ego is officially one of my new favorite hazy IPAs made in Calgary! This place also has amazing service, fun nostalgic 90s music, and great food!

Came for a longtime friends celebratory Event in the upstairs room. Amazing food and cider is phenomenal but the service lacked. I personally believe that customer service is much more impactful on one’s experience at a restaurant/bar than the food and drinks could be. I was greeted very enthusiastically by the male server who offered me the cider options but told him i’d come back after I got settled upstairs. When I came back, the female staff member was the only one near. When I had Asked her for the menu she looked as if we truly inconvenienced her. When it came to ordering drinks and food My friend and I felt the same way again. There was not a single smile or any indication of friendly service. I Felt all of my service requests From her were incredibly considerable for this being an sit down dining but I wasn’t met with satisfactions

It is nice place with yummy food and good beer/cider selection.nI really like flight option: you can try 4 kinds of beer from the menu for only $10 and decide what you like more. I like cider btw, it is not fully dry, but with some nice sweetness and pairs with sandwiches good.nBoth of which were really tasty. House pickles and pulled pork LOTS of meat merge into ideal combination at Smokehouse Cubano, but mortadella ? Nah, remove it please, this sandwich doesn’t need it!nIt was sooooo cheesy brisket sandwich here! Brisket is not the best I’ve eaten and not even close to smth like Jane BBQ level, but good enough to enjoy it with roasted peppers, onions and super soft bun. And horseradish aioli is very unique flavor sauce that really staying in your memory.nAdditionally Trio of Dips Sample Tray is TO GO for trying all kinds at once! All of them cheesy, creamy, stretchy and delicious! Interesting that Bualo Smoked Chicken one is more spicy than Bacon Jalapeño Popper , which btw we liked the most.nThe only disappointing part is that looks like this place has no deep fryer, therefore no fries…. Thinking of how great those dips can taste with fries … Tortilla chips are fine, but who doesn’t want fries to their sandwiches???

The brewery offers a variety of seating options, including bar seating, tables, and an outdoor patio. The menu offers a good variety of options. I recommend trying somethingnthe food was excellent. Family friendly. They offer live music and host private events and parties . Grab some merchandise before you leave and get a 15% discount.

Absolutely love this place. I come to the patio every summer. Food - Amazing, Service- Spectacular, Drinks - 10/10.
