Southland Leisure Centre

Great facility with splash park, wave pool, hot tub, sauna and kiddie pool. Fitness classes, gymnastics, rock climbing wall, skating rink, squash courts, and a top notch gym with the best equipment in the entire city. Physio and massage therapy available on the second floor. Avoid weekends if you can as it can get super crowded with family swim but the gym was quiet today. Nice and clean and parking lot was packed.

Our favorite leisure center in Calgary. Wavy pool, splash park , 2 big slides , kiddie pool, sauna and hot tub, fitness center , physiotherapist and party rooms We like to spent couple hours on weekend here. Always clean. Even there are lots of people , you can find spot and lockers be prepared to have quarters per locker l.

A friend & I had a wonderful day at Southland Leisure Centre. It started perfectly when we arrived & a lovely young gentleman named Tyler at the front desk/registration area was super kind & helpful with some passes we had to get in.nThere’d been a mixup at a different facility logging my pass & Tyler figured out the problem & promptly fixed it. He was wonderful to my chum explaining perks of the Centre, different activities & is such a pleasant person & knowledgeable asset. The City is fortunate to have him.nWe wanted to put in some solid hours at the water park & loved the large warm wave pool. The hot tub was the perfect degree of heat, nice & toasty. The steam room was just right. The music played was fantastic, lots of classic rock & upbeat fun songs. The water slides were a blast! Everything, including the change rooms were clean & fresh.nThe Centre has lots of other great sports & activities we’ll try next time like badminton, basketball, racquetball & a weight room full of the best fitness tools & toys.nI love that the modestly priced day pass lets you do loads of things altho we easily enjoyed 5 hours at the pool area alone.nSouthland Leisure Centre is a fantastic world class facility, a bargain as entertainment/exercise places go & Calgary is so lucky to have it.

Never had many issues with this place. Staff has almost always been great. Lots of different things to do there and the pool have always been a blast for me and my family!nCan get quite busy, so be mindful when it comes to things like public swimnOverall, it was a great place. I would definitely recommend :

A great city pool, especially with the heat of July 2024! We came in, on holiday, from Ontario, and there are no city pools back home that come close to what is available at the Southland Leisure Centre. The wave pool and water slides were pretty popular with our teenage sons. Great facility!
