I often go to gescan twice in week ...there is one old man everytime very rude behaviour about me .yesterday I ask him why he is rude to me.He didn't ask me why I feel that .I don't know why .Other staff very good behaviour and they are very helpful .Gescan 12 street Calgary .

UPDATE!!!! second trip here, again more than helpful staff to figure out my needs. And they OPEN at 630 am so you can get things done early!!!!!nnJust stopped in as a non commercial customer tring to resolve a light trim kit issue. Although the actual trim lit i need is not easy to source anymore. MIKE was more than helpful in a suggestion for an led retofit as a solution.nDid not buy today, need to figure this out. He was just SUPER HELPFUL, during my quick stop.

Before you even walk in, you can tell this is a place used to catering to professionals. In the parking lot, I think I counted 3 different electricians trucks. It can be a little intimidating walking through the door if you aren’t a pro I’m not. Staff were very helpful and knew their stuff. When one staff member wasn’t absolutely certain about something, he triple checked with a co-worker, which I have a very high level of respect for. He was right anyways, but took the time to verify. Far too many people just pretend and then customer is left with the wrong thing.nI suspect some of the negative reviews are actually people who staff tried to help/direct but customer insisted they “knew better”.

Walked in an had a question about a CO detector . Was met with by the rudest, arrogant and extremely unhelpful. God forbid someone goes in that place looking for some guidance. Would never recommend this place unless you know exactly what you need and don’t need to interact with the same guy I did. Awful customer service and experience.

Disgusting customer service by Neil Gray. This man is ruining the image of this store and peoples days. The moment you don’t seem to know much about electrical he looks down on you and thinks that you don’t deserve to be in his store.nnHR you know what to do.
