We love coming to Cabela’s every year for Santa photos. The setup is always amazing, and the staff are friendly, patient, and great with kids. It’s become one of our favourite holiday traditions. Highly recommend!

Every year, our family comes here to take photos with Santa and purchase a photo package. However, today we were only allowed to take one single photo, and we were asked to choose from that alone.nnUnfortunately, two of our children had their eyes closed, so the photo was not perfect. I asked if we could take another photo, but the staff member refused and responded in a way that felt dismissive and unwilling to help. Only after I clearly showed that I was unhappy did she reluctantly agree to take another photo.nnThis experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and disappointed. I no longer felt like purchasing a package, and with this level of service, I honestly do not want to come back here for Santa photos again.

Had a super experience all around the store grabbing what we needed and catching any deals. Even made it in as a walk-in to see Santa thanks to his hardworking elf, Omar. The care and extra attention that he was putting into the display, making sure Santa was comfortable and the respect he showed to his elves and customers was recognized and appreciated.

The reason for the four stars is because of knowledge. The place is great to go to. Great atmosphere. Staff absolutely willing to help you out. Though unfortunately some of the staff when they deal with anything to do with the hunting and fishing licenses definitely need to be way more educated or at least be a hunter or Fisher directly themselves with experience. Would have made the four stars absolutely five plus stars. So just be aware that the people behind the counter may or may not be experienced in what you need to know.
