Hudson's Bay

So much selection. I haven't been to the Bay since I was a child. I always associated it with clothing for older people as that's why my grandma would always take me with her. Definitely not the case! I was able to find some stuff for my dad that I have been looking for everywhere. (Clothes-wise) I was very impressed with the big variety of clothing items for all ages. Pricing is pretty fair for most items, some things are more on the expensive side but the quality also seems much better. I will definitely be going back to look for more clothing in the near future.

I came here for the Nespresso and they delivered.It is on the top floor. The staff are friendly and will give you a sample if you ask. Great product for coffee! Hudson’s Bay is great for having these people working in their store.

My boyfriend and I were in the Southgate location looking for a suit for a funeral. The sales associate was amazing. He was the only associate for the entire department and still managed to bring us several options while also assisting other customers and was extremely knowledgeable and patient!

Usually the Bay is quite awesome, but the Southgate Bay has some seriously rude customer service in the clothing department. They should been trained on etiquette and manners. The younger girls are pretty good, it's the older women who don't seem to care about the customers needs, Privacy (ex. Sizes), and judge based on appearance (if I'm tired and decide to wear my hair up and sweat pants after working hard all day, I do not expect to be stared down as if I can afford what I'm asking for). 4 out of the 7 sales I've dealt with have been awful.

Service doesn't seem to know their own policies, even when shown them online. Went to price match something from a (Canadian) competitor, but was told they only price match London drugs and home sense. Online customer support is just as clueless. Finally was able to confirm that they do indeed price match the competitor (best buy) after some phoning around. Store has good selection, but it's over priced. Only went there because we had a gift card. Can't say after this experience I'll be back.
