Budget Car & Truck Rental

I would like to thank Budget for $350 for a one day car rental at Toronto Pearson airport. The best part came when the reservation dept. booked the vehicle in the wrong name but correct phone number and sent us away with no car and a claim of no way to find any reservation. I returned to clarify that we needed a vehicle even if the reservation was lost and could i speak to a supervisor and Mary the representative at the terminal 1 budget desk Had such a cavalier way to tell me that it wasn't her problem. She didn't care and told me to take it up with reservations. At that point i asked if she wasn't a budget employee at the budget keyosk? Her response was that she literally told me to leave. I smiled asked her her name and left.

Pick up and return were easy and convenient. Staff are helpful, keen and honest. The vehicle was in an amazing condition. Great value for the money.

Picked up the car in Detroit and had the worst rental experience. The car was filthy inside with a bit of trash as if the car hadn’t been cleaned whatsoever. Since I was on a tight schedule I decided to take off into dark, freezing, slippery weather on my way to Canada. 10 miles in the windshield fluid ran out leaving me nearly blind on the dark highway. First gas station was out of fluid due to weather. Gah! Budget is usually better.

The service was friendly and quick. The car was ready immediately, fueled up, spotless and brand new. There were no hidden fees or issues dropping off the vehicle. The whole process was effortless. Even their customer service line gave us a 10% discount just to convince me to reserve with them during my research into pricing. I will definitely rent with them again.

i don't understand why the management(head office) not doing anything regarding staff at this location. all the review just mentioning only one thing. CUSTOMER SERVICE/ RUDE STAFF. in response all i am seeing is call us. plz dont forget that you guys are at airport and indirectly you represent our city. your customers are mainly tourist. so plz do something that your customer have positive image about your company as well as our city
