Ramada Calgary Downtown

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. But our room was 25 degrees! We turned off the thermostat, opened a window -5 lows, and we still had to sleep on top of the covers. Might be a problem in that room!nnStaff in the pub was AMAZING! We were going to the Jubilee and were going to drive. But she helped us figure out the C-trains including which one and where! Way simplernAnd certainly above and beyond for her.nnValets were great too. Friendly and polite. And the price of $20/night was very reasonable!

Stay somewhere else. My shower and sinks were not actually clean. I didnt want to even touch them. There is tons of water damage in the bathroom and the furniture is also very damaged. Carpet had spots missing and the black-out curtains dont fully close. I upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi a mistake, I know and the tub hadn't been cleaned at all. There were water lines on the sides and hair in the bottom. Bad hotel, pay $50 more for a substantially better hotel in the downtown area.

We stayed for a concert in town, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly! I had originally accidentally booked at the wrong location not my proudest moment, but we are all human, but the Ramada staff made that potentially very stressful situation a pleasant and easy one! Within 15 minutes on the phone we were rebooked and our whole experience there was very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was no parking lot or street parking, however they do provide underground valet and while this was unexpected the valet staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, careful, and considerate. The fees for the parking could also be taken from our deposit at the end of our stay, which made an unexpected expense much more manageable. We felt more comfortable with the valet after seeing the staff and how great they were!nWe would definitely stay again.

The hotel is an easy walk from the bus stops or downtown train. The ride from the airport is about an hour. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was a coffee machine, a chair and desk. The TV worked with a reasonable selection of channels. The bathroom was a little worn and no separate shower cubicle. The water pressure was good. Some toiletries were provided along with a hairdryer. We did not eat here. We found it suitable for our needs. You can hear the traffic outside but it didn't disturb our rest. We would use this hotel again.

I had an absolute lovely stay here! Stayed for 6 nights and the staff was so sweet and helpful! The room had everything I needed and after a request a kettle was brought to my room as well. I didn’t end up using the breakfast but it looked good as well. Location is perfect walking distance to everything. The only issue I had which wasn’t a big deal just a bit annoying was that my key cards stopped working multiple times during my stay but we couldn’t figure out what the problem was unfortunately.
