Baymont Inn & Suites Billings

September 2, 2017: Adequate. Beds were very comfortable. Pool and hot tub were ok. Hotel definitely needs some TLC. TV quit working and maintenance was unable to get it going. Staff helpful and courteous. Front desk could use some "customer relationship" training. *** The air quality across the state was at a "red alert' level and we were traveling with two toddlers who were having respiratory problems. We intended to stay two nights, but decided it would be wise to not stay there for that reason. We had made reservations for two nights, but when we checked in at about 6 pm, we told the desk clerk we would not be staying the second night. We were informed that we were past the cancellation time of 4 pm and could not cancel the reservation for the next night. We did leave the next morning. The corporate office has refused to refund the second night amount. Our credit card company has tried to deal with them without success. They do have a policy of no refunds for any reason, but I believe these circumstances were allowable. May be company policies that are the problem. My issue did not get settled . Be careful if you think you may need to cancel a prepaid reservation

Due to Delta airline canceling their Cody, WY flights, my wife had a 6:30am Saturday Billings flight. We left Cody on Friday during a blizzard and spent the night at the Baymont Inn. The desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and organized. The TV and heater worked: it was -15 degrees outside. The hot tub was very relaxing and the swimming pool was at a very good temperature and not crowded! While my wife did not have their breakfast due to an early departure, I came back and enjoyed the waffles, orange juice, yogurt and most importantly the Dewee Egberts coffee!

The most horrible motel experience I have ever had.. sheets obviously don't get changed.. hairs everywhere.. still had food crumbs on the damn table from previous people.. heater barely works.. smelled like someone had just dropped a deuce in the bathroom before I opened the door

First we had no refrigerator or microwave in room even though it was listed as being in the room already, was offered to be moved at 1130 pm for the lack of these 2 amenities but was already in bed. Then the DO NOT DISTURB sign was disregarded as we left room, it was then that our room was furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. We had to ask for clean towels and the comforter looked like someone blew their nose on it but it (comforter) was covered by another colored top sheet to cover the mucus....

Pros: Friendly front desk staff -- especially the man working nights, so friendly and warming. Felt genuine. Cookies during the day Hot tub was hot. Cons: No towels when we checked in (quickly fixed) Hole in the bathroom door (just looked bad, wasn't all the way through the door) Shower was either hot or cold and turned off when going between the two. Beds were not springy, more like soft bricks. When we were about to check out we felt around under the edges of the bed to make sure we didn't leave anything. We found a toy and a water bottle from previous occupants, didn't reassure me on the cleanliness. Breakfast was there because people expect it, I had some sausage at 7am (breakfast started at 6) no one else around and it was cold. We ended up going to McDonald's for breakfast. The pool temperature was decent but there were no steps to get in, only ladders. Hard to do with a baby. The 3 foot section is around the edges which made for little play. The hot tub had spots for jets but we could not find any button to turn them on. Overall: if I was super tired and needed a cheap bed I'd stay there again. Other than that I'd look around.
