Extremely unprofessional staff. First the teller wrote my appointment on a wrong person's business card and then the financial advisor tried to blame it on to me that I never booked any appointment. Bravo Scotiabank. This is how you treat a customer who has been with you for over a decade? Will move my business where I am treated professionally and honestly and not treated the way I was treated by N***** H***. #mademyday

I had an appointment with Nicole Hart regarding my account. I felt Racism in the way she was talking to me. At first, the moment she saw me her facial expression changed and she started talking very rudely to me like i did some kind of fraud. there was clearly no way she wanted to help me out in my problem. very very very disappointed by the customer service from her i had everything she needed and still she refused to help. never expected this in Scotia Bank.

Kosta, Barbara and Mike are excellent! This is by far the friendliest branch I've been to. They are very clear and my banking expectations have either been met or exceeded.

Rude tellers, was there 30 min ago. No smile, no good morning, threw my receipt at me. No thank you for your business. These young tellers need to smarten up.

Don’t waste your time booking an appointment with “Nicole Hart” don’t know how she even got promoted as an advisor. I could tell the racism vibe the moment I entered her office. No respect on how to talk to client and refused to explain anything in details. I bet this comment is useless since the bank doesn’t even care to response to anything or fix it. Do your self a favour and take the advice.

The small business advisor, Mike is absolutely fantastic. When I was starting my business, Mike went above and beyond to help me get everything going properly. I was new to the business world and if it wasn’t for Mikes advice and guidance, my company wouldn’t be where it is now. He is full of knowledge. The branch employees are always very friendly and welcoming. The line for tellers, if there is one, usually moves quick as well. Amazing branch and people. Thanks Mike!

Horrible Experience.. I was just having a car loan account. Since 1 week I am trying to get release letter and every time I talk to online representative they just give new information. 1st representative mentioned that I will get it via email and physical mail. Email will be in 3 days and till now not received it. 2nd representative mentioned that I can get if fax in the branch and can pick it up from there. She also mentioned that email has not been sent as what 1st representative told. 3rd representative said she had sent the fax and can be pick it up from branch confirming that she had emailed also to the branch. After confirmation of it being sent I visited branch and they say it has not yet received it. Such a bad experience will save me of not getting a bank account with them for sure since not interested in this kind of service.

Avoid opening accounts with Scotia in general. My bf and I were both looking to start joint accounts and had nothing but bad experiences with Scotia. I've been with RBC for years and have never had this issue. No one knows what they're doing here , don't waste your time like we did. Look elsewhere.

Very bad experience. I went there to open my investment account and as it was my first time investment, I didn't know much about it. The financial adviser fooled me and put all my money into Mutual funds after 2 days without even telling me the pros and cons. I wanted my money to be into the cash account but because he was getting the commission he did this fraud to me.

The staff at the Gulph Street Scotiabank in Georgetown is always friendly and helpful. I always receive exceptional customer service from the branch manager Kosta. Kosta always goes above and beyond. Thanks to all the staff. It is always a pleasure to conduct my business here.
