Aurora Home Hardware Building Centre

Horrible service at the Aurora Home Hardware. We were at the Newmarket Home Hardware and couldn't get the Christmas lights we wanted. The service there was amazing! The person there couldn't have been more helpful. They called to the Aurora Home Hardware and they said that they had checked and that they had 5 sets. Great off we went. We couldn't find what we asked for so asked for help. It was like pulling teeth. No one wanted to make eye contact, and when we finally got the person in the area responsible she said no they didn't have any. When I told them the Newmarket store called for us and they said they had 5 sets she said "I don't know why they would have told you that, our inventory system is about 20 years out of date". Wow! Really? I also enquired about the price difference being higher for same product different color. She said they safe independent and don't have same sales. That explains it! Two totally different experiences, both Home Hardware. One amazing, other horrible. And there was a defensive attitude no apology for the inconvenience. My recommendation is to go to the Newmarket store for great service everytime!

One of the last places I can get auto Propane for my Motorhome. People that serve me are awesome! Nothing but good things to say about this Store. AAA plus.

A lot of the staff isn't friendly...I had to ask for help before anybody would help me. Younger girl in paint wasn't very knowledgeable which made my shopping experience a bit frustrating. I also remember coming in one time when the place was completely flooded which didn't make an enjoyable for me seeing as nobody was there to help me, which is understandable under the circumstances.
