May 9, 2026 nI recently visited the Canadian Tire store in Newmarket and was really impressed with the updated layout. I especially liked the HBC Collection section in the store, which included items like pickleball racket sets, umbrellas, blankets, mugs, oven mitts, pillows, bedding, lawn chairs, and even a canoe.nAlthough the store was quite busy, there were enough staff members available to assist customers, and I didn’t feel left waiting. The employees were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my visit.nnThis isn’t a location I would normally visit due to the distance, but I’m really glad I had the chance to stop in and experience it.
I was extremely pleased with the customer service I received today. Prior to going to the Newmarket location we were at another Canadian tire where we couldn’t find a single staff member for help. We decided to come to the Newmarket location in which we were in and out of the store within 5 minutes. We were buying a large item and asked the customer service desk for a larger cart, the lady at the desk was very quick to call for help, in which they came in a timely manner. My husband or I didn’t have to lift a finger, they brought our items to the cash and loaded everything in our car for us. The store was very organized and clean with very pleasant staff members
An unexpected car issue which left me stranded in a parking lot across from the Canadian Tire store in Newmarket ended up being the best place to be. George the Service Manager was very friendly and helpful. The help I received exceeded my expectation. He also explained everything in detail and added some helpful information in case of any other unexpected future issues. Thank you George, and, to the employees that literally brought my car into the auto centre. I'm very grateful.
I had an amazing experience at Canadian Tire in Newmarket. This afternoon a wonderful lady went out of her way to help me find a cleaner for my car seat and I truly appreciate her kindness and support. The entire staff at this location are incredibly helpful, professional, generous, and always so kind. The store itself is always spotless and perfectly maintained which makes every visit a pleasure. Huge thanks to everyone for their excellent service. I highly recommend this place.
I had a very disappointing experience with this Canadian Tire location.nnI came in to change my tires, and they were not able to properly deal with the tire pressure sensor issue. I ended up having to buy a new sensor from them. The very next day after the service, the tire pressure warning light came on again.nnI went back to the store to ask for help, but they told me they did not have time to check it and asked me to come back the next day. Unfortunately, I could not come the next day.nnThis is not the first frustrating experience. Last year, when I came for a seasonal tire change, they kept my car for two days, and I was left without transportation.nnI also contacted customer support through their website and waited for someone to get back to me, but nobody contacted me.nnOverall, I feel that the service was careless, the communication was poor, and the issue was not resolved properly. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this location.
