Our favourite HomeDepot store. We always get the best service there, and we can always find help in the store. We just had furniture delivered from HomeDepot by Airedale Carriers Inc. The nicest and most helpful service!!!
So if you read my reviews, you know that I live in Toronto. But I have recently changed locations and have been undertaking a home renovation. This brought me to the Newmarket Home Depot, and it is safe to say that this should be a flagship location. Every single customer service representative was outstanding. If you have the choice between locations, and Newmarket is on the list, choose it. Store stock location by location is always very similar, it's the service here that matters.nnThere are several notable mentions from my personal interactions, but I would like to mention some wonderful people:nn1. Aileen the store manager was sensational. She helped us find a host of items throughout the store. She listened attentively to what our renovation entailed, and added suggestions throughout our shopping experience. She even found us again when she was brining closets out for clearance that she knew we'd appreciate. We bought three. She safeguarded our carts while we continued to shop, and also had a dedicated cashier for us when we completed a substantial purchase. When the kitchen cabinet designer was not on shift yet, she managed the siutuation with professionalism, and scheduled us in to meet her first when she arrived. An overall lovely personality, knows her store, knows her employees, is hands on, and is just a pleasant lady. If she hasn't been commended by head office before, she's due!nn2. Sharry in the plant section is a doll! She meticuluously went through all sorts of best practices with me on how to grow and care for my new plants just yesterday on a subsequent visit. I had shopped with my mum the first day, and this day I was by myself and it was a totally different list of needs. Suffice to say, the service was steller on this day also. I am so happy with my plants and will post a picture of my space.nn3. I got exceptional help from Jay in blinds with cutting my blinds and getting advice. He even left me a personal note with them upon pickup.nn4. I got exactly what I needed with some guidance from the service reps in plumbing, and also from aisles 21-22 on more than one occasion. A French-Canadian gentleman whose name escapes me was a great help.nn5. The two lovely greeter ladies when you walk in the northern doors always say hello and smile, and remember us AND our dog Lizzy! So great.nn6. Salvatrice is a gem. Bubbly and happy and remembers me every time I check out with her. She helps me watch my carts when I forget things, and is always laughing at my bad jokes :nn7. Last but not least, my FAVOURITE person in the store is Rosalin in paints. She is such a beauty of a person. She is warm, friendly, and explains everything to you in a way that makes you feel good. Her tips are both educational and practical, but also have a positive creative effect on your renovations. Her suggestions for colours were outstanding, and her matching of my former colours in my space for touchups were bang on. She is amazing at her job and you are lucky to have her in store. Incredible attention to detail, and you can feel that she cares about your job's success.nnSo, I hope you read through all of that. And honestly, there are a dozen other staff who've helped us but I don't have their names. Everyone knows their sections, or knows someone who can find anything Mike comes to mind he is a wizard. People come with you down aisles, consult with their colleauges if they need help, and give meaningful suggestions on what to buy and what not buy too!nn10/10. I only review 5/5 locations for a reason, if you come to my reviews, you can believe you can shop there happily. This Home Depot is a crown jewel of York Region consummerism. Well done.
Home Depot in Newmarket is my favorite hardware store because of their wonderful, supportive staff. They always go above and beyond to help, providing excellent service every time. Today, I have calculated savings of $47,000 thanks to the proper guidance from their team of experts and following their recommendations. I saved money and got the job done with quality materials as well. It's a great store with a fantastic team! Special shout out to Fadhil, Kamil, Roger, Steve, Brad for their continues patient and support. Highly recommend! The picture is for another completed deck project.
Home Depot in Newmarket is a solid place for all your home improvement needs. The store is well-stocked, and I can usually find everything I'm looking for, from tools to building materials. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help, which makes navigating the aisles much easier, especially when I have questions about products or projects.nnThe only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that occasionally, the wait times at checkout or for assistance in certain departments can be a bit longer than expected. However, the overall experience is always positive, and I’ll definitely continue shopping here for my home projects
I was shopping for an item here yesterday in the tool department and Rodgerner in tools really helped me find what I was looking for. Knowledgeable, kind, patient, and friendly. Would not hesitate to go back there :
