I’m giving this 1 star review namely because of the rude store employee who was working in the rental area last Friday when I was retuning the van at 6:30 am. I had rented the van the night before and was returning the van back to the store since I was not able to get back in time before the store closed at 9pm. This store employee was confrontational and accused me of not returning the van with a full tank of gas when I did return the van with MORE than the amount of gas it had when I rented it. When I asked him for his name, he refused. Not surprisingly, he was not wearing an apron and did not want to identify himself and when I asked to speak with the supervisor or store manager, he asked if I was trying to intimidate him. Thankfully I spoke with Helen and I explained what had happened. She provided me the name of the store manager Justin and advised me he was not in the store yet and I ended up going back to the gas station to put some more gas in the van. I only drove the van for less than 80km and ended up putting in $30+ dollars of gas. When I returned back to the store, I was helped by a different person who was nice and pleasant to deal with. Honestly, all the other interactions I had with the employees at the Aurora store were positive and they were great to deal with but not this one employee.nnHere’s a tip: If you are going to be rude and not helpful, then you should not be working in customer service since you are damaging the reputation of the store and the Home Depot brand.
Been here a number of times and yet to have a positive experience. Customer service is abysmal. For a return the guy argues that he has to do work. To get paint shaken takes forever as they can’t multi task and focus one customer at a time, all the while they could’ve done that while the paint shakes. Checkout attendant seems miserable. Go to another location or hardware brand
Eduardo from lumber was so kind and helpful! I came in to buy wood for my deck and I had no idea what I was doing but he took the time to ask questions and give me some great service!
Bought a trimmer & blower that had issues with the battery/charger. Returned it to the store and they did not have stock to exchange it. Oscar came to the returns desk and found a comparable that I was able to purchase. Oscar explained why the product he was offering was better than what I had purchased originally. I am very satisfied. Oscar was polite, kind & very helpful! Way to go Oscar. Thank you for your help!!!
