Thermal experience is very affordable, especially at 5:30pm or later until closing. Really nice spa, great environment and atmosphere. Thermal pools were great, very relaxing, and sauna was a good size. Really enjoyed the eucalyptus steam rooms. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves, only criticism is that the change room showers were quite dirty, so they could use more care in cleaning the changing rooms.
The saunas and baths were really nice, and if you make it there early it's almost a private experience. Best part were the massage therapists! I have gotten a massage in 3 continents, and this by far has been the best! Excellent experience!
Not worthy at all. Expensive for nothing, this place lacks cleanliness, sauna & steam rooms are dirty and not cleaned, washrooms you can’t even change there! Massage waiting room used cups everywhere, hot springs are not well maintained. Staff are not friendly they will not even smile or greet you, they just smile when they are doing your bill. Massage therapist are cold and hurry to finish before time. Overall there are better clean spa less than this!!
I am frequent spa goer. For the price, Amerispa was very disappointing. The baths were nice but the property is very dated. The relaxation rooms have no blankets and the fire wasn’t on. As my friend said it felt like doing an exam where you could hear everything…not exactly relaxing. Some recommendations - couples chairs to cuddle in with blankets, tea, if you do not have a water bottle perhaps a fountain, I would also do up lights in the trees. I would also recommend a sweep in the dry sauna. Amerispa was a more like 35-40$ experience, for 75$ /person you need to up your game in a big way.
Overpriced for descent spa. The bathroom was very dirty . For what you pay, there weren't many things to do . After 2 hours I felt like going home . The quiet rooms had very uncomfortable beds/chairs. Also, not to pull the race card, but I was given a warning in the spa that we were making a lot of noise even tho we were whispering while there were so many others talking louder and didn't get the same treatment. Maybe if this place was 30$, I would consider it to enjoy the hot pool, but anything more is a robbery .
I am giving this 2 stars simply for the massage. As other reviewers mentioned, place felt very run down and dirty. The womens change rooms were so small you couldn’t even change. There were barely any benches and it was extremely crowded even on a Monday. There are 2 hot tubs, 1 almost hot tub and a cold pool. All of them were packed. There was also no parking, people had to make their own spots. I came with my 18 year old daughter, the crowd is mostly adults and many men were staring at her. The bistro food is limited to sandwiches, salads and soups. It was very good, but busy with only 1 employee. However, massages were amazing. This spa is okay but not worth the money, if you’re willing to drive definitely go to Koena or Nordik Spa in Chelsea/Gatineau.
Dirty shower cabins possible mold , not well maintained relaxing areas and heated pools; used to be a lot better. Becomes expensive for $65 access/person
Great atmosphere and you can speak with friends as long as it isn't too loudwhispering/speaking low encouraged/it doesn't disturb others
Love their therapeutic massage. Excellent service from Pierre Luc. Did a deep muscle massage; very relaxing. Spent the rest of the day in the outdoor spas, hammock, long chair in the sun. Very quiet place and perfect to relax. We also went to their bistro and loved their pear and almond pie. Delicious!
We always have annual memberships here, in beautiful Morin Heights. Clean, peaceful and mature clientelle.
