Just returned from another wonderful and relaxing stay at Auberge Sous l'Edredon! We found this gem 3 years ago and have been back every year. The auberge is beautiful and Stephane is the perfect host. Staying there is more like staying at a small boutique hotel with little touches like robes in your room and chocolates on your pillow. And breakfast is incredible - so good you won't need lunch! Seriously if this place doesn't impress you, you should just stay home!

Great service, the owner is very friendly, there's a home cat walking around and likes to play. Room was a little smaller than I expected. Breakfast was good and plenty enough.

Stephane is extremely friendly and accommodating. He makes a lovely breakfast w great touches (dolphin bananas?!). Meticulous attention to details (toilet paper rolls artfully 'pointed') and no dust or dirt anywhere. The hot tub faces the sun and mountains and you are left wanting nothing more. Great value and professional service. Highly recommended.

What a great place. Tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, magnificent breakfasts and Stephan is a superbly charming host who never fails to smile.
We were there for four nights for a ski vacation literally across the road at Mont Habitant which added to the value of this location. Our stay was longer than the typical guests apparently as it's in the Laurentians and people are moving around to see different places. Breakfast each day was different and robust served with a smile and interesting conversation. There are only a few rooms and so the place is never crowded even over breakfast.
Will definitely to stay at this place again next time we go to that region.
Well worth the five stars...

We rented the six rooms of Auberge sous l’édredon on the weekend of January 23rd to celebrate our wedding. I don’t have enough words to express how perfect the weekend was. The B&B is absolutely beautiful and charming and the surroundings are breathtaking. At night, you can admire the lights of Mont Habitant’s ski slopes. Very romantic! Every room is different but they all sparkle of cleanliness and chic. Our families and friends could not stop asking us how we discovered this little gem. A few of our guests even suggested that they would be back for a little vacation of their own!
Stéphane and Nick know how to truly take care of their guests. Every demand was answered right away; that’s when they hadn’t already foreseen our needs. Their friendliness and professionalism was noted by all our guests. It’s obvious that they both have worked for many years in the hotel business. Stéphane also has a very fine knowledge of wedding organization and he suggested a fabulous vendor (Magnolia Fleurs et Saveurs) to do flowers, décor, hors d’oeuvres and wedding cake. It was reassuring to have two vendors that know each other and work well together taking care of everything.
Last but not least, the food. Stéphane makes the best breakfast potatoes! His breakfast menu is elaborate (3 services menu) and absolutely delicious. Eggs benedict, quiche, scrambled cheese eggs, fruit salad, vanilla yogurt and granola, name it: you will not be disappointed.
Needless to say, we had a perfect wedding weekend. We can’t be back to Auberge sous l’édredon soon enough!
