Zero stars :( Went to purchase a fireplace for installation in the basement. The experience was terrible from start to finish! Purchased a fireplace unit that sales guy Steve said would work in the location we wanted it. Asked him SPECIFICALLY more than once how many turns were allowed in the venting and he said "no limit, as many as you need" What??! Had to PU unit all the way in the westend - they were missing parts when Steve said everything was in stock. When Steve came out to estimate install he assured us they could install so we got all the framing done (spent a bunch of $$) only to have the install date pushed back over and over. Got another estimate from a different company who said "THIS UNIT CANNOT BE INSTALLED IN THIS LOCATION" ...too many turns in the venting!!!! In my opinion, Wood and Energy Store is a waste of time and money and staff do not have any idea what they are taking about but are happy to give WRONG INFORMATION!

Le pire service jamais reçu! Au printemps 2017, nous avons visité le magasin afin d'acheter un foyer. Nous étions sur la point d'acheter et un des employés Peter est venu chez nous afin de voir les possibilités de construire des armoires autour du foyer (mesures, système de chauffage en place, nos goûts et préférences, etc.), une fois que le foyer serait installé. De semaine en semaine aucune nouvelle, à trois reprises durant l'été, nous nous sommes rendus au magasin afin de voir le travaille accompli de sa part (promesse de sa part de faire des dessins). Toutes les excuses du monde nous ont été données! Nous avons même contacté un employé du département des ventes qui supervise ce magasin et nous avons fait part de la situation. Finalement en août, nous lui avons fait part de notre déception et que nous allions aller voir un autre magasin. Tellement frustrant!
