You can find:n-Hydraulicsn-Log splittersn-Camping suppliesn-Tools of every kindn-Welding suppliesn-snacksn-And hu dress of random stuff you wish surely find a use for in the surplus section.nnNot only is the selection great but so is the pricing and overall atmosphere.

I love Princess auto for all things vehicle related. They do offer other products than vehicles, but this is what I go here for.nnMy mind might be tricking me, but I seem to remember the West end location being larger with more items to choose from? I had gone here to get an odour eliminator spray since I left some compost in my car for three days in the sun mistakes were made. However I was unable to find what I was looking for here at this location.nnOtherwise the store was clean, well lit, and the staff I interacted with were all polite and helpful, especially with helping me look for what I needed. There is a fair amount of parking here, with handicap placard spots available.nnI will go back and browse a bit at some later date.

Staff are always very helpful and friendly. On Mar. 28, 2024, Lu really went the extra mile to locate an item that had purportedly been in inventory but that I couldn't locate. Turns out it was behind & under other, unrelated items at the back of a lowest shelf & she kept looking until she found it. You could say she went 'below & beyond'. The extra effort was much appreciated!

I normally love shopping at Princess Auto, but have just had the most frustrating retail experience I've ever experienced.nnThursday morning, after confirming stock of an item online, I went into the Edmonton South store to purchase said item. The item was not stocked on the floor and had to be retrieved from the back. After some time, I was told that the item was not accessible as they were unloading a trailer and to either wait a few hours or to come back later in the day / Friday morning.nnThursday evening, I returned to the store to see if it was accessible. It was not. I was told to call the store the next morning to let them know what time I would be around to pick the item up.nnFriday morning, I called the store - I was then told that the item was still not accessible, and that they could maybe retrieve it sometime on the weekend. I then told them that this is not acceptable and that I would try the Edmonton West store instead.nnThe tale doesn't end here! After this, I tried to call the Edmonton West store three times to confirm that it was available / accessible.nnThe first attempt, after being on hold for about 5 minutes, I was unceremoniously hung up on.nnThe second attempt, the phone was picked up right away. I assume that the phone was then put down right away as I heard people checking out. After a few minutes of trying to get somebody's attention, I hung up.nnThe third attempt, the phone was picked up after a few more minutes on hold - At this point, I had asked to speak to a manager out of frustration and was put on hold again. After being on hold for about another 5 minutes, somebody picked up and asked if I was somebody else. I said no, and was put back on hold for another few minutes before giving up.nnSince I wasn't having any luck on the phone, I decided to chance it and drive the ~40 minutes to the Edmonton West store. My item was in stock, and on the floor, but the store did not have any flat carts for large items. I ended up having to perch the boxes on top of a regular cart which wasn't the end of the world, but was a bit awkward.nnWhen I got to the till, I was served by Susan. She was wonderful.nnAfter about 4 hours of driving / shopping / calling and half a tank of gas later I live outside of town, I finally got my items.nnTo say that I'm pretty disappointed with this experience is an understatement.
