Urgent Care Centre - UBC Hospital

Today, as a family, we experience the most professional and compassionate care. My Father has so many health issues. He was scared of performing a CT Scan. Gladly for us, we were helped by a wonderful person and professional. Miss Lillian. A nurse from the CT scan area. Our gratitude to UBC Hospital for having such a caring and knowledgeable professional. Miss Lillian made my father feel safe. He trusted her, and that means the world to us. Thank you.

I had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago. The staff are fantastic! Helpful, kind and professional. From the cleaning staff to the nurses, each did a wonderful job of making my stay comfortable.

Through my experience, let everyone know that the doctors in the emergency room are not professional, they are mobile workers, and they have no sense of responsibility. They are just a formality. They take the test samples, but the patients can't get the test reports. Don't waste precious time. There is no treatment here.They just tell you to take antibiotics.

Went to emergency yesterday with severe pain in right hip area had previous replacement 7 years ago I was triaged appropriately due to level of pain. The nurses and Dr. Afshin Khazei ER Dr. On duty were absolutely amazing. The care and attention I received was excellent. They thoroughly assessed me, had bloodwork and xray done and provided pain relief so I could be more comfortable. Thank-you to all the Nurses and ER Doctor Dr. Afshin Khazei who attended to my needs. I appreciate you all so very much! My apologies for not remembering the nurses' names it was June 14th, 1830, to 2330.

Went in with extreme pain and some blood coming out of my left ear, fairly confident it was an ear infection like I’ve had before. The only thing these doctors are good at is being fast. Not only did they give me a wrong diagnosis, they prescribed me enough Advil and Tylenol that I was throwing up all afternoon. Went to St. Paul’s later that day and got the proper treatment I needed. If you are in any physical pain, DO NOT GO HERE!!!
