Mount Saint Joseph Hospital

I could not rate my appointment here highly enough. I was coming to the Medical Imaging department for a biopsy, and every staff member I met was so kind, warm and friendly; bedside manner off the charts!nnI was provided lots of information before my appointment in terms of arriving to the hospital and how much time the appointment would take. They were spot on, which was great to be able to plan the rest of my day.nnI had a couple of trainees/students in for my small procedure, and everyone was just so respectful and warm. I felt genuinely cared for, even just for an hour.nnIt goes without saying, healthcare workers are just generally the best, but this hospital is something special.

Dr Rich and Nurse Sarah were so sweet and helpful. Even the rest of the staff from check-in at the reception and the other nurse assistants checking vitals. They were very welcoming and kind, and you can tell they enjoy what they do because they care for everyone who walks through their doors. Hospitals are usually pretty busy and stressful, but considering this is a smaller hospital with good working hours, it looks like a great environment! For reference, I came at around 8am when it opened. Definitely will come back again next time when I need to because of such a great and peaceful experience. Thanks so much team!

We had a very good experience here at Mount St. Joseph all throughout my mom’s hospital stay. From the ER to the surgical unit to the geriatric unit up to my mom’s hospital discharge all the staff esp the nurses, doctors are very compassionate, supportive and very kind. Shoutout to the nurses, Jordan surgical unit, Emily, Rose, MJ and physiotherapist Audrey,Amy, Habon, Dr. Lee, Dr. Meneses 4E geriatric unitare all very supportive and attended to my mom’s needs making sure she feels comfortable throughout her stay. Thank you very much for all the help and care you provided my mom during her stay. It was much appreciated.

I went to the emergency department around 7:30 p.m. on March 8 2026. The receptionist young lady at #1 counter with wavy hair had an extremely bad attitude, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I’m not expecting customer service from a hospital, but people come there because they are not feeling well. Being treated in such a cold and arrogant manner only makes patients feel more anxious. Her way of speaking felt condescending and as if she was looking down on people. I don’t think staff with that kind of attitude are suitable for dealing with patients. She is not happy with her job. She shouldn’t be working there if she is not happy.nBut all the doctors and nurses are nice.

Big shout out of thanks to Dr. Leone and his surgery group. Super efficient and very nice people. Also thanks to Dr. Tom and Carlos in recovery for taking great care of me. The nurses and care aids were terrific. My heart goes out to them for the extremely long hours they work and always smiling and friendly. Many thanks to Jordan and everyone else on the 4th floor west students included.
