Louis Brier Home & Hospital

I have been consistently visiting Louis Brier Home & Hospital for 2 years as I have 2 direct family members and 2 family friends currently residing there. Being a regular visitor, I can confidently say that the staff members are truly caring and helpful. One thing that sets this facility apart is its homely atmosphere, which deviates from the typical hospital-like environment found in other care facilities I have visited.nnI have been impressed with the recent upgrades made to the food services, as the meals provided are of good quality. The facility also has lovely secure courtyards, which are beneficial for both residents and visitors. The overall experience of visiting never feels burdensome or tedious, which speaks volumes about the positive ambiance and the level of care provided.nnBased on my own observations and interactions, I can genuinely say that I would consider myself fortunate to be a resident here when the time comes for me to require such care.

I cannot say enough good things about Louis Brier. They have done such good work with my 99 year old father for the past 13 years. When my father had his stroke, I looked at other places. None compared. Caring, compassionate people, from top to bottom. No home is perfect, but I believe this is as good as it can be.

Absolutely terrible your reaction to a client seeking assistance with death. As a LTC home - you have policies to follow regardless of your faith beliefs. I'm disappointed that a LTC operates the way you do and to bring your staff into the situation and use them to sway public opinion is terrible. You should be ashamed.
