HALAL, HALAL, AND HALAL!nFirst time going, and the service from Bianca was outstanding! She's so friendly, patient, kind, hardworking, and just a really amazing human being! We need more of her in this world!nThank you so much for the best service, Bianca! You made both mine and my daughter's evening so much more pleasant! nnThe atmosphere is really neat having your dinner within a carousel setting. A must visit to try.nThe food was delicious and the portions were good! How they set up their menu with complete entrees is perfect, and you can't walk out of there still hungry or wanting something more. It's the most satisfying restaurant!nCan't wait to visit again!!
My son and I were in town for a convention and decided to give this place a try. I have always wanted to try it but am never in the city. We were glad we did. The restaurant itself was very uniquely decorated with little booths on a train car, booths made out of old beds and elevators and it had a very old fashioned vibe. We went pretty late and it was still decently busy. It was a little loud making it difficult to hear our server and he seemed a little rude and irritated but that was the only thing we had a small issue with. The food was fantastic and decently priced for what we got. We got one of those all inclusive meals, it cost $25 and we got fresh bread with whipped garlic butter, a starter salad or you can get soup, a big bowl of spaghetti with meat sauce there are other options, a good heaping of ice cream 3 flavours to choose from and a tea or coffee. It was all delicious and a generous portion size, we were so stuffed by the end. One downside is parking, however, that is pretty much how it is everywhere you go in the city. They did have a paid underground parking lot pretty much directly across the street so that worked other than having to pay for parking on top of your meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.
This is actually one of my go to spots in downtown toronto! Whenever I bring a friend into the city, I always suggest this restaurant because of its extremely family friendly atmosphere, and the food to price ratio!nnYour meal comes with a choice of salad garden or ceasar or soup to start, pick a main, and a choice of chocolate, vanilla or an interesting pistachio flavor to end! It also comes with a free cup of coffee or choice of tea.nnService is always phenomenal! Ive never felt super inclined to give this place a review just because I know I'll come here a lot and my experience is different every time, but when we came on Canada's day I just felt like I had to write a review!nnOur server Nigel was so amazing and kind. We came in at around 8:55pm and were trying to catch the fireworks for Canada's day. Nigel kindly put a rush on our order and it came out super quick!nnI will definitely be coming back like always
We recently dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown, and overall it was a pleasant experience.nnWe started with the soups, a borscht and a clam chowder, both were decent and comforting. The complimentary bread was a nice touch, and we appreciated that it was refillable throughout the meal.nnFor mains, we ordered the seafood linguini and a grilled chicken Caesar salad. The portions were generous, and while the food was good, it was fairly standard, nothing particularly standout, but satisfying.nnWhat really made the visit enjoyable was the atmosphere. The restaurant is very spacious, making it suitable for groups of any size, yet it still felt calm and quiet. The service was excellent - attentive, friendly, and efficient!
I had been to the Vancouver location before, but since the Toronto location is quite far from where I live, it took me a while to finally visit. I’m glad I did!nnThe interior felt very similar to the Vancouver location, and I appreciated how they’ve maintained the same unique atmosphere and charm across their restaurants. The vintage decor makes the dining experience feel a little special.nnI ordered the spaghetti with tomato sauce, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had a simple, comforting flavor. I personally found it a little mild, but there were seasonings available at the table, so it was easy to adjust to my taste.nnThe meal was filling, and the included bread and soup/salad added great value. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I’d happily come back again.
