The menu was simple, yet delicious. If you're craving something hearty that feels like a home-cooked meal, this place won't disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the patio offered a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The owners are warm and welcoming, giving the restaurant a genuine, family-owned vibe. Prices are reasonable, and overall, it's a solid five stars across the board.
Absolutely phenomenal experience. The service is so friendly and quick, we got a table and our food all in a timely manner. It’s a busy quaint atmosphere, feels very homely. The food is perfection. The meatball was tender and flavourful and the mozzarella sticks were cheesy and delicious. We got the pesto spaghetti and their rose sauce rigatoni. Both were amazing but the pesto was our favourite, it truly lives up to the hype it’s delectable. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was also perfectly delicious and creamy. Can’t wait for my next visit!
Drove to Sugo tonight from Niagara to meet some friends and Sugo was recommended. Absolutely lived up the the hype. Great chatting with owner Alex who’s super friendly and happy to answer questions about the restaurant. Server Jana was great as she happily answered every question thrown her way. Food was excellent and VERY quick - pasta and pizza both stood out to me but everything that came out was excellent. A must try for great Italian. Date spot or gathering with friends it’s awesome. Get there early and/or plan to wait - definitely worth it!
Wow honestly such a high rated Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Perfect for special occasions or date nights even a pop in for your cravings of course. They do have a patio area to enjoy the beautiful weather in Toronto. Delicious and creative Italian dishes, make sure you try the rigatoni and the veal sandwich. With the meal get a sip of there in house beer taste great! Highly knowledgeable staff about menu and drinks, the servers are excellent and make the experience even better.
It was worth the one-hour wait. I really enjoyed the dishes, especially the eggplant parm cutlet. The eggplant was fried to a crisp yet remained thick and flavorful — transforming its usual soft texture while still preserving its signature taste. The rigatoni was chewy and full of flavour — no surprise it’s one of their signature dishes.nnService was efficient, and the staff were quick and attentive. The only downside was the volume of the music — it was so loud that it became difficult to hold a conversation.
